What you see here is an original PowerCar Co. 1957 T-Bird built for Ford dealerships to promote Ford's Sports car & a few wealthy people. The dealers would try to entice children to the Ford dealerships with the promise of a ride in the PowerCar with the hope of selling the parents a new car. It is powered by a 12 v. battery that drives a Ford starter motor with a pulley mounted which turns the belt to the axle. It is fully operational. including lights & horn which operate as they did when new. This unique toy recieved a recent frame off restoration with picture documentation. It will make a great Christmas present for the Car Guy that already has everything else, but probably doesn't have one of these. I bought it to complement my T-Bird collection & let my grandaughter ride it, but she has graduated to faster things now (Can't imagine where she gets it from). It also comes with the operating manual, & other paperwork. I prefer to sell locally, but will assist in any way possible with shipper as far as meeting the carrier.
