Problems with listing on ebay checklist - car is not turbo nor all wheel drive and is 3.8L not 3.6L, otherwise as stated in ebay summary correct.2005 Porsche Carrera 997 SGeneral Information: This beautiful Lapis Blue 997 S (hard to find color) was purchased in early 2009. It had one previous owner in New Jersey and was returned to Porsche Leasing and through a broker sold to me. The car has 55,750 miles and has some nicks and scratches; consistent with its age and mileage. The body is in very good shape and the car shows very well. It has been through three extensive details and most recently received another expert and thorough detailing, four wheel alignment and oil change. At 53,000 miles I replaced the ignition coils with OEM Performance Ignition Coils and installed OEM Turbo Performance spark plugs. This car has been garage kept and pampered since I bought it. I have the title in hand. The Basics: 3.8L engine, six speed, moonroof, Lobster wheels, A/C, non-smoker, power memory seats, self-dimming mirrors, 13 speaker Bose stereo system with CD and 325 watt Audiopilot, PSM and PASM, headlamp washers; everything works as it should. It does NOT have heated seats, chronometer, navigation or multi-cd player.The Additions: I purchased the car in stock condition and have added the following upgrades (valued at $10,000.00 and put on the vehicle at 49,000 miles): RSS Performance Plenum Evolution Motorsports Software Tuning Kit Evolution Motorsports Venturi Intake System Tubi Headers Tubi Exhaust System and Mufflers Bilstein Struts and Coilovers/PASM Damptronic Kit RSS Front & Rear 997 Sway Bar Kit EVO-B&M SSK Short Shifter Kit These are all bolt on type parts and no engine modifications have been made. This car pushes 355 horsepower stock and with the recent upgrades added 30+ horsepower. The Bilstein system not only improved the ride, but also lowered the car a bit for a perfect ride height. The SSK short shifter is sweet and is the newest model; as the stock shift from Porsche is sloppy and the previous SSK model was a bit notchy. The Tubi system provides an awesome sound over stock and does not materially impact the interior noise level. It is a thrill to hear it. This car sounds great, runs great and pulls hard and is fast. All of the work listed above was performed by renowned Porsche experts: Sharkwerks. The Other Stuff:A small gear problem in the transmission forced a replacement (Porsche does not repair tranny’s on newer models – they replace them). The transmission was replaced under warranty by a Porsche Dealer. The new factory tranny has less than 9,000 miles on it and also included a replacement of the clutch, slave cylinder and bearings. The rear main seal was not replaced at this time; and only showed small sweating and it was determined that was within normal limits. There are no oil leaks and never have been on this car. Other Dealer and recent warranty work includes; replacing the passenger seat motor, replacing a front cooling fan, replaced the on-board computer and radio with new Porsche parts. The battery was also recently replaced with OEM Porsche. The Michelin rear tires have less than 9,000 miles on them and the Michelin front tires have 40% tread remaining. The car also comes with; Evolution MotorSport Floor mats (front and rear), extra Carrera labeled floor mats, two keys, outdoor Porsche car cover with storage bag, spare tire and jack (which I bought aftermarket since the 997 series only comes with a sealant system). I have no been in any accidents in the car and there are none on record from the previous owner or car history. The body is straight and true and I inspected the car when I purchased it and found no signs of repair or bondo. Disclaimer:These statements made herein do not imply warranty.
