Hello Pontiac Fans and thanks for checking out this 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport. This is a genuine 71,000 mile, two owner car that has been well maintained and is a blast to drive. It has the original numbers matching 350 cubic inch engine mated up to a Powerglide transmission. The engine runs strong and it shifts crisply with no vibrations or rattles. It handles great and stops on a dime due to its power steering and power brakes. Under the hood is clean and the trunk is as well. She is dry underneath and leaks no fluids and does not burn any oil or smoke. The black interior is in nice condition with an un-cracked dashboard. This car wears its original paint that still shines very nice and has not worn thin. It has no rust and no Bondo, but it does have a few dents on the front passenger fender and a cracked drivers side headlight bezel on the nose that I have tried to show in the pictures. Not too bad, considering she's 40 years old and did not live her life behind velvet bank ropes. ;) Besides that, you have solid quarters, trunk and floor panels as well as under the vinyl roof that you would expect from a southern car. All the gauges, lights, signals, wipers, horn, etc. are all in working condition and the car is road ready and street legal. The original glass and chrome are in nice condition. This Southern car is located in Tennessee for inspection prior to the end of the auction. I am listing it for a relative and between the both of us we should be able to address any of your questions. This would make an awesome GTO clone given the fact that it is an original red car that has not been modified, beaten on or hot rodded. She's a driver that you could drive and enjoy right now and then take it in whatever direction you want to when the time comes. This car will make someone very happy for a very small investment.
