You are bidding on a 1985 Jeep CJ 7 that is stock. All of the stock equipment is there and unmolested! I added a new battery, fuel pump, oil change and air filter! There is absolutely no rust in the tub of this Jeep, it is a Nevada / California driven Jeep and is in excellent condition! This jeep looks awesome, I was going to put chrome wheels on it, but I wanted to keep this Jeep completely stock. The soft top and soft doors are in excellent condition, there is a 3/4 inch slit in the rear window on the drivers side of the soft top window, it is hardly noticeable and does not hurt the function of the soft top. Very small cosmetic items need to be replaced, there is a tear in the driver seat, covered with black gorilla tape, the passenger seat and rear seat are original and in excellent shape. There is a tool box in the rear of the jeep that is filled with replacement parts and off road tools (axes, shovels, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit etc...) The Four wheel drive and locking hubs work great! Almost brand new Mud Terrain tires (5 of them). This vehicle cruises at highway speeds easily. This jeep looks awesome!!!! Clutch works good! This jeep is all original!! The radio plays, and has a tape deck, but the tuner does not change the channel. The tachometer and the clock do not work. After market tempature gauge is functioning great! The fuel gauge stops at 1/4 tank when its empty for some reason. One crack in the dash, other than that it looks great! I was going to rhino line the interior but I wanted to leave it unmolested so I could show there is nor rust inside the tub!!! I had a mechanic go through this jeep, he said it runs good, it needs a heater core, it leaked, now it is disconnected, $36.00 @ Kragen. Vehicle idles a little rough in the morning (its 25 degrees out), may need choke or carberator cleaned, but once warm it is awesome! Mechanic says top end and engine have been rebuilt, I have no way to confirm it but thats what he says. All of the smog equipment is present, but some is disconnected (Smog not neccessary here) has a catalytic converter and muffler, looks great underneath, just dirty like every other jeep! This is a jeep, while it hasnt been off roaded hard core, there is dirt and dust in places you dont find dirt and dust in normal cars, the paint is 25 years old, could use some wax! A few knicks here and there and a little paint is flaking, cant see metal underneath but its flaking. Turn this into a great complete stock classic jeep with minimal work! On Dec-05-11 at 21:44:54 PST, seller added the following information: The bumpers, mirrors, spare tire carrier and hood tie downs have been painted gloss black in the past. They look good, a few run spots on the mirrors, rear bumper but nothing major that cant be fixed in an hour. I just noticed these doing a closer inspection of the paint, as I have been asked if this vehicle was ever repainted. I dont believe it was, but I am not 100% positive, as I am not the original owner.
