2004 BMW R1150-R. NO RESERVE AUCTION! ADULT OWNED! Awesome sport tourer. Probably the lightest, best handling bike in its class (at least, in 2004!) Was an everyday driver for the previous (local) owner. Good condition, great looking bike. Everytime I ride it I get compliments about how good it looks! I am not sure about the mileage. It shows about 86K but I was told that it is wrong (speedo replaced). It does have significant miles, though. But the bike is garage kept and properly maintained. I have owned the bike 2 years in March. Was dropped in the parking lot by someone test driving it. I replaced the valve cover and a few parts. It still looks good, with only minor sctaches and has a small place (unrelated) in the seat and a tear in the grip (also unrelated). (See pictures) This has induced me to sell at a lower price. Bike is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Heated grips work properly. I have recently replaced a seal on the shaft drive, the battery, and the throttle-side electrical controls. It needs to have the throttle bodies adjusted. The bike runs ok, but not great.
