(have receipt) (basically cleaned out the whole oil system because it was clogged, so now the oil can run through the system easier and like it is supposed to) I will tell you of any issues or problems with the vehicle that I am aware of because as a buyer myself I would want people to do the same: Flaws: • one of the clear fog lights lens on the driver side is broken-the light still works, you can probably buy one at a junkyard for very cheap if you want. • Front bumper paint is chipped, but is not easily noticeable since there is black plastic behind it. • Small dent driver side by headlight which is hardly noticeable • buttons missing on head unit for fade, balance, and bass- you can still turn them and they work, you can probably buy them at the dealership for a couple bucks • some of the lights on the head unit do not light up at night time, the OEM head unit can probably be purchased at a junkyard or online for cheap, you memorize where the buttons are after a while so you can still find them at night. • Older engine-burns oil slowly and usually add 1 quart every 1000 miles after an oil change. You just have to check it every once and a while, but have never had a problem. The guys at the automotive repair shop said that this is expected with an older engine with high mileage. • ABS and emergency parking brake lights come on randomly- this has been going on for over a year and have never had any issue. I know this happens in many vehicles once they get higher mileage. I know of a website called Module Master where they can refurbish your ABS module and that will fix the light issue. I had a friend do it and all you have to do is remove your ABS module send it in and you can still drive the vehicle. I think it is around $200 or so. • There is a tear in the arm rest on the driver side door, could be filled in with something to make it less noticeable if you wanted to. • There is some leather cracks on the driver seat arm rest and the seating area, but this is the only seat with cracking. • The “Service 4WD” message comes on sometimes in the message center sometimes, it has been doing this for a year or so, but the 4wd is functional and I haven't had any issues with it at all. (I rarely used the 4 wheel drive) • Subwoofer rumbles sometimes even when the head unit is not on. I believe it is due to a grounding issue from what I have read online, but I am not very technical with audio so you will have to have it looked at. Shouldn't be a big problem, the stereo still sounds very good listening to CD or radio. It only does it sometimes when you have all the stereo turned off. It is not that loud though. • The button to fold the TV up into the ceiling is missing so you either need to buy a new button or tape it up when not in use. • I would recommend always using an oil additive such as Lucas to replace 1 of the 6 quarts for every oil change, you can buy it at any autozone, oreilly's, etc for about $12. It just makes the oil stay more liquid so the older engine can use it easier and stay lubricated better. Or you could just switch to a synthetic blend or full synthetic oil would work as well. • Small paint chips on passenger side mirror (use touch up paint) • Power side mirrors do not work sometimes (this is not a big deal, all you have to do is set them once manually and they are good to go!) All of these issues are very minor and inexpensive if you want to have them fixed. None of these issues affect the reliability of the vehicle. It can still get you wherever you need to go, but if you are very picky, these things can be fixed for pretty cheap. You could by a newer car from another person and probably encounter the same issues if not worse. I just want the buyer of this truck to know what they are getting because I would want the same from other people. I know you may be saying 186,000 miles is a lot, but this truck has a long life ahead of it, you will be able to tell once you see it and drive it. I have had it for 7 years and anytime something was not working or needed to be fixed I had it done. This is evident from the receipts I have. I will gladly answer any questions or take additional pictures if you would like. If you are the next owner I will gladly answer questions that come up over time if you have any issues or questions about something. 512-801-0238 Doug I have many receipts, product boxes, and instruction manuals for most of the things done to the truck regarding maintenance and aftermarket products installed. I guarantee you will not find a better looking, better running, well taken care of truck from 2000 for this price. I promise you will be very satisfied if you are the next owner of this vehicle. Very cool truck, many compliments, the only reason I am getting rid of it is I have had it for 7 years and am ready to get a truck for work with a bed for hauling/trash/equipment, etc. *keywords: chevrolet, chevy, silverado, sierra, suburban, yukon, tahoe, envoy, trailblazer, escalade, trucK
