This 1964 Chevrolet C-10 pick up featuring a 283CID Chevy V8, 4 Speed Transmission, custom long leaf pine bed w/ black accent mounting metal strips and much much more! The C is the name for Chevrolets full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1999 in the US, Half-ton short-bed models were the C10. The cab was changed for 1964, with elimination of the wrap around windshield and a new front grille design, along with various interior changes. This truck is a frame off restoration started in 2009 completed in 2010. This truck was gone through from top to bottom. All surface rust removed and painted it has a rebuilt 1966 283 engine, new edelbrock 4 barrel carburator, rebuilt 4 speed transmission, flowmaster dual exhaust, new brakes, new gas tank, new glass and all door and window handles, new sound system, new gauges, changed to power steering, new radiator, new alternator, new starter, new battery, new wiring, new fuel and brake lines, new Goodrich TA Radials, new American Racing Mags . All Rubber has been replaced with new. (body bushings, door , hood weatherstripping, etc.). There are many more new parts that were used during the restoration process. Every part in this truck has been inspected and replaced or rebuilt if defective. There are 2,960 miles since all work was completed. I have spent over $15,000. on the restoration of this vehicle. The only things I am not happy with are the gear that holds the steering wheel in place is a little loose , a small leak at the joint where the shifter mounts to transmission and couple of small rattles when driving occassionally. These are all very minor details that can be corrected easily if they bother you or I can get them corrected for you at cost I have invested so much time and money and expected it to be like new, but I have to remember it is 47 years old. This is one fine ride and everyone loves it. It turns heads every time I drive it.
