Hello and thank you for looking at my auction for my 1986 Honda CRX. Originally, About a year ago i bought it with intentions of restoring it and it sat in my garage for 9 months, in the timeline i had it stored it's been garage kept out of the elements. This is a First Generation Honda CRX for the U.S market, Mileage is actual and original with the original EW1 Carbureted 4 Cylinder engine and 4 speed automatic transmission it was born with. Car is completely bone stock but has aftermarket Proline alloy wheels and newer tires that are only a year old with good amount of thread left. Car has been garage kept most of it's life, current mileage is exactly at 144,285 miles. all highway. Very sought after, Very low mileage for the year. would make a great tuner or to be restored back to original. Starting bid will be at $1,000 Dollars with NO RESERVE!!! Bid to Win! When this CRX was purchased new back in 1985 when the 86' model year debuted it has had the option of a Rusty Jones rustproofing Anti-Rust & Anti-Corrosion Inhibitor, which at the time was offered by most dealerships as a $200 dollar option, i think it's the only thing that saved this cars life over the years, the undercarriage, chassis and inner fender wells are clean and rust free. the only place you will find rust beginning to accumulate is a very minor and repairable amount in the driver's side quarter panel ( note pictures. ) and other small minor surface rust spots on the body here and there, a long with minor dents dings & scratches as expected from a car this old. As for anything else the car would really need is both front plastic fenders to be either replaced or repaired since they are cracking, they could be bonded together using fiberglass but I've been trying to find the right fenders for it and just replacing them all together. Both bucket seats are in rough shape, drivers side seat bolster is torn and passenger side seat is worn. they both currently have seat covers on them. was planning on changing out the seats all together. The front nose piece under the hood was dented, i replaced that and it needs to be painted the right color. Small dent in drivers side door near door handle ( note pictures. ) Car runs and drives, but will need new valve seals and a new Piston Ring on Cylinder #3, Exhaust smokes when started. This car is not drivable in the state its in but it does run and can't be driven onto a trailer. Transmission shifts good, body is free from rust and has low miles.
