RELISTING:,THIS EDSEL SOLD, BUT!!, "NON-PAYING" BIDDER,NEW LISTING WITH BUY IT NOW & LOWER RESERVE,,NEW PHOTOS: A Great running, driving Edsel. This edsel corsair 4 door was built in oakville ontario mid. sept. 1957. The Edsel data base states that app. only 475 canadian 4dr.Ht.corsair were built, making it a rare car that has survived, The car was restored in the mid 80's & then put in a car collectors storage building until app. 2006 when i bought it. After i got the car we went thru the drive train, restored,replaced,or renewed, brakes,brake lines,,master cyl.gas tank,complete transmission rebuild,water pump,radiator etc. The car has been driven to car shows,driven on the interstates(65-70mph), letting you know this is a good running ,driving edsel.Iv'e driven this edsel a few hundred's of miles. As stated, the car was restored about 25-30 years ago, but still looks good.I ADDED MORE PHOTOS OF INSIDE THE TRUNK & INTERIOR, ALSO TABLE FULL OF EDSEL BOOKS,SERVICE MANULES, OLD- EDSEL. AD'S ,KEY BLANKS, ETC. (see photo) .& Please look at the photos & see the interior is very nice,trunk is org. no rust,holes,very solid.All the glass is org., driver side vent glass is cracked, all the other glass intact but showing a little age but good as a driver.Also some neat accessories,duel edsel mirrors,duel edsel antenna's, engine block heater,compass, etc. Being that the car was repainted (25-30yr.ago) the photos show that the car still shows very nice for a car that has been driven the last 4-5 yrs.
