69 Triumph 650 TR6R, This is a Matching numbers bike. I bought this bike as you see it with the intention of restoring it, but I have decided to start roadracing again and I can't do both so it is now available for sale. This bike will make an Excellent Restoration Project. This bike is NOT in running condition, the wiring harness is not on the bike, the engine needs at least top end gaskets. When I purchased it the head was off, so I loosely assembled the top end. The engine turns over and has compression, however 1 pushrod is missing. All the chrome is in really good condition, the rims look good with No rust, the fuel tank only has a little surface rust in it but is solid. The tank does have 2 broken tank badge bolts (one on each side) The engine does have a little section broke out where the rear chain broke once (fairly common back then) a good welder can fix that with a doner case piece, or leave as is. The right rear axle adjuster is missing, the left trim cover opposite the oil tank is missing. The comes as you see with everything you see pictured. Again this is a restoration project, it is not 100% stock or complete but there is a lot to work with here.
