*****PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. Call me at (917) 749-4302cell. Lets make these bids legit please. These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY SHARP LOOKING 1971 CORVETTE STINGRAY T-TOP COUPE WITH 41K MILES ACTUAL MILES, WITH 350CI V8 AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Power steering 2) Power Disc brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Stock 350ci V8 motor 5) Automatic transmission 6) 15" Rally wheels with radial tires 7) T-tops 8) Pop-out rear window 9) Upgraded L-88 big block hood 10) Am/Fm stereo radio 11) Shoulder belts The car comes from upstate NY, where it has been female owned and maintained. This Corvette received a recent refurbishing which included new paint, interior (carpet, seat covers), brake overhaul, and some motor compartment detailing. Interior is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition with normal general wear here and there. Seats have been recently recovered and look nearly like new. Door panels have general wear and small cracks throughout (driver's side missing door pull). Dash looks very good. Steering wheel is nice. Console is driver quality (missing small passenger side front piece and e-brake cover has small cracks). Carpet is new. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock 350ci 4bbl V8 motor with added full-tube headers and Edelbrock 4bbl. carburetor, and it has been adorned with the stock LT-1 finned aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner. Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Underside is VERY SOLID with EXCELLENT FRAME and birdcage. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a nice driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like small chips and a couple of tiny scratches and such, and a couple of air bubbles that developed on the rear deck. Brakes have new rear pads and rear calipers and have been bled properly but now the front calipers started leaking so pedal is a little spongy. Started winds every once in a while so it should be replaced in the near future. Couple of the smaller dash gauges not working. Headlights work but slow to come up and down. Missing: spare and carrier, trim tag. Rear section of new carpeting needs to be installed as I have not gotten around to it yet. Rally wheels could use a respray. Driver's side rocker panel should be replaced. Left headlight area has small chip visible in pictures. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT LOOKING AND EYE CATCHING CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER WITH VERY MINOR TLC. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE T-TOPS OFF AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND FINISH TINKERING WITH IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF AN EYE CATCHING 1970 STINGRAY WITH 41K MILES ON THE ODOMETER!.
