Restored 1966 mustang convertible. Mustang was stripped down to bare metal then sealed primed and painted. The last picture I have posted of the mustang stripped....Many many new parts. ENGINE: 289 V-8 New Edlebrock 4 barrel aluminum intake manifold, New holly 600 4 barrel carb, water pump, fuel pump, thermostat, alternator , starter, new engine wires, plugs,coil, points, spark plugs and wires, battery and new radiator. Brand new hoses, and belts on everything. Engine and transmission were removed and the engine bay was sanded detailed and also painted. TRANSMISSION: Ford T10 4 speed tansmission. Purchased a freshly rebuilt original FORD 4 speed shifter assembly. It was bead blasted clean and painted as well as shifter rods. New T handle with reverse lock-out shifter..New clutch, new pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. New fluids of course. BRAKES: new wheel cylinders on all four drums, Complete new brake lines as well as master cylinder New shocks, new gas tank, new fuel line and sending unit. INTERIOR: Interior was done at a local trim shop and is done nicely, the seats were taken apart new burlap was also added and frames painted,New carpet, new jute padding and underlayment. Brand new excellent reproduction deluxe steering wheel and new RALLY PAC. Both the TACH and CLOCK work along with lights. CONVERTIBLE TOP : Also new. replaced the well liner, cables and padding and top. EXHAUST : NEW 1966 mustang GT dual exhaust with new stainless tips. Exhast manifolds are factory and were bead blasted and painted with high temp cast paint. Also notice the exhaust bolt locks that are in place on the engine (NICE). EXTERIOR. Paint is very nice, very few flaws, Top shelf materials were used when body and paint were done.... Glass is Original untinted. The wheels are mustang original styled steel rims with new center caps. The tires are bf goodrich radials. ELECTRICAL: Everything on this mustang works with the exception of the horn and radio. I am sure the radio would work if hooked up but most like to get there own modern radio installed. A very beautifull example of a 1966 mustang convertible. This mustang will provide some lucky new owner with years of great service and certainly a few ribbons. The last thing I am going to do to this mustang is take it to the alignment shop for a front end alignment and have tie rod ends and such looked over. The mustang has zero miles since restoration. Tweaking and tuning will be preformed by new owner. This is a fantastic opportunity to own a very nice mustang. Please, zero feedback or low feedback bidders, please contact me before bidding.
