1978 HONDA GOLDWING GL1000 Complete Frame-off Restoration and this beauty rides smooth and quiet. What's New? - Bridgestone Battleaxe tires - Stainless steel Brake pistons and lines. - Water pump, gasket, seals and O-rings - All four carbs have been rebuilt - DVD included - Lights - all the way around - wiring - upgraded MDI weatherproof harnesses - Z-frame handlebars - rebuilt front forks - New fluids throughout - High temp, chem-resistant paint all over - not professional What's wrong? - Front brake fluid container needs to be replaced, leaks a little but still functions fine. - This is a NAKED goldwing meaning it has NO windshield...makes for chilli winter riding. - As with most GL1000's, the neutral light stays ON almost all the time - Has no affect on bike function, just annoying at night. This is a sweet custom frame-off rebuild that took me almost 2 years to complete. I MUST SELL because I am moving across country and cannot afford to take it with.
