Vehicle Detail
As found this 1973 MG/B is in terrific condition for its age. The previous owners keep a book with all the repair and part slips. A glance shows the trans/engine rebuilt, new alternator, water pump and lots more. The body panels are straight. The convertible top is good. The problems: the driver's seat is shot but the good news there are 2 new bucket seats (right color) to replace them. The Strombergs need to be rebuilt (according to the owner) that's why the driver's side fender has the mirror off,- its in the car. He started but quit. There is no radio. The floors are solid, the stainless good, the bumpers have no dings, dents or scratches. Check the door panel pictures, they are good. Dash is good. Attempted to take pictures of the car to show how great it is. Over all, this is a nice great car to restore. It may not take much. There is a roll bar, car cover, wire hubcaps! The vin plate says it was built in 10/72. The picture was tough to take because of where the car was sitting. I have an assignment of title for the car. Connecticut does not issue titles for any cars older than 81. This car had an older title, which is in the book, but we were told by the registry that one will not issue. The car was registered in 08 in Connecticut as an early American class code 25:1. I am listing this car in other places and reserve the right to cancel this listing if it sells elsewhere. NO RESERVE. Any questions, I am an email away and will attempt to answer all inquiries. Will do what we can to help expedite your shipping. Be Advised The car does not run, carbs need to be finished. If you prefer to make an offer, I'll listen. Thanks for looking.
