Vehicle Detail
1977 Suzuki GS400. This is a NO RESERVE auction. This is a very nice first year GS400. It has just a bit over 4000 miles on it. It has always been well cared for its whole life. This bike is like taking a trip back in time. This is as close as you will come to riding a new 77 GS400. Bike is in completely original, unrestored condition. The only items I know of that are not original, are the tires, and battery. The bike runs great, and usually starts 2nd or 3rd kick when cold, and 1st kick when warmed up. Original Suzuki keys, and original tool kit included. Everything works like new on this bike, all lights, switches, gauges, etc. Cosmetically the bike is in like new condition. There are a couple very minor cosmetic issues worth mentioning. First off the seat has a light scratched area on the right rear side, not sure how it happened. Second the GS400 decal on the right hand side cover is slightly coming loose at the "G", could probably be easily fixed with a little adhesive. And the throttle grip is torn at the very end. Other than those few items, this bike is very nice. Nice shiny original paint, nice chrome, clean tank inside, gauges look like new, original S mirrors with the proper cushion mounts, etc. This is probably one of the nicest GS400's around. It took 1st place in a local bike show this past summer that I entered it in. Feel free to call me with any questions - 937-751-3195. I can assist buyer with shipping the bike anywhere in the US. I have used Uship.com several times in the past with good results. Average shipping prices seem to be $500-$600 to most places in the US. International bidders are welcome to bid, if you make your own shipping arrangements.
