Vehicle Detail
Beautiful Corvette in Excellent Condition with Countless Professional Performance Modifications I am very reluctantly selling this great performing Corvette--but I have to make room for a '69 that I've been given the opportunity to own. I searched for a vehicle like this for over 12 months, as I'm very particular about my vehicles. To give you an idea, my other Corvette is a 2002 Z06 Andy Pilgrim 440 Special Edition. It's only previous owner was acutally Andy Pilgrim--previously from the C5R race team--he now races the CTS-V for team Cadillac in the SCCA series. It has also been in the Corvette museum in Bowling Green. I am the third owner of the car up for auction, not including the dealership who took it in on trade between the first two owners. The first owner tastefully modified the car and years later traded it in for a new one. I purchased it from the second owner who had to sell it due to a family situation. The car has been garaged kept and stored every winter by all three owners. From the outside this vehicle looks perfectly stock. It's when you start the car that it quickly separates itself from all other 92's. Here is a list of the upgrades in this vehicle: A Modified LT1 tuned Port Injection . All Stainless Steel Corsa exhaust with Pro tips, 1 3/4" Long Tube Stainless Steel headers, BBK-58mm Throttle body, Port matching, Adjustable fuel Regulator, High performance fuel Injectors, MSD Ignition, 8.5 Magnicore plug wires, NGK spark plugs,Custom Chip, 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms, heavy duty valve springs and retainers, 10 degree valve locks, Comp Cam-valve lift-intake. 576-exhaust. 571, Fidanza Aluminum flywheel, Center Force Dual Friction clutch, under drive pulley setup, 410 posi rear end, ( Dana 44 ) Cold Ram air system with High flow K&N air filter, Meziere 55gph billet Electric water pump, 160 Degree thermostat with water-wetter, and new pulley belt. All 4 tires are 275/40/ZR17------Added Stainless Steel Brake line hoses. Racing Hawk Brake Pads, Power Slot Rotors , Heavy duty Sway bar with red powder coat. Chome lug nut caps . Billet "Be cool" Rad. cap. Stainless steel Hose covers Chrome Valve covers, Chrome computer cover extra chrome breather for the valve covers. For the non-motor heads out there---it has all the high performance goodies! The interior is in excellent condition. The seat bolsters and carpet are like new. The cargo cover is perfect--no fading. All the electronics and gauges properly function. Both cassette and CD player work. The car runs and sounds fantastic. I recently drove this from Mason, OH to Niles, MI and got 27 mpg's and the motor performed flawlessly. I have never had a problem with this car. I have loved owning and I'm only parting with it due to a great opportunity to own a '69 with only 17k miles. Here is a link to the video to hear the engine and exhaust. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGY6dRhzn6A No dents scratches, etc. Mechanically, the car runs perfectly and shifts smoothly. No leaks. Non-smoker car. The only issues I've found with the car are the following: Cracked right front mud flap. Steering wheel is very slightly off center--the car does not pull left or right --even at high speed--wheel is just off center--was that way when I bought it. The only thing I've changed on the car since owning it was the gas cap. I replaced a cheap locking cap, that one of the owners put on the car, with a NOS cap. The AC has just been professionally repaired and blows ice cold I've bought and sold several cars on ebay--you can check my feedback--I don't buy, sell or own junk. I'm very selective and have basically done your homework for you on this vehicle. Another great feature of this car is that it become become collectible in 2012 which means very cheap insurance from Haggerty or Grundy etc. (roughly $185/year), one of the reasons I was specifically looking for a 1992. This car has had three very anal owners--the first one actually had his name engraved on the motor plate as seen in the photo. That gives you an idea of the care this car has received over the years.
