This is one of my personal favorites of the 30 or more Jeeps I've offered for sale. Please expect a nice looking, nice running rig that while may not be perfect,...still great...faults and all. The Exterior Condition. Nicely painted exterior surfaces showing deep gloss, shine and depth. The exterior trim, emblems and decals are in nice shape and offer an exciting cosmetic approach that's not shared by most vintage 4x4's on the road. These are the original Wagon Wheels, not a copy. The glass is clear, the body is straight and the stance is square. The grill is the original too,...it too is in nice shape. The rear window operates as it should and there is a tow package should you want to pull a Vintage Travel Trailer:) Overall, the exterior is in nice shape that will be appreciated by all who see her. It is not perfect,..but very nice overall. The Interior Condition. Generally speaking, nice overall but needing seat covers. I left the original seats in as you may have a seating surface that you would like to add. I can also do this for you if you wish. It's nice to have a "Say" in your Jeep. There are many options for seating. Leather of course, black or gray cloth. Red piping, red inserts,...or both? As I mentioned, give me your design and surface choice and I'll have it beautifully finished to your taste. Otherwise, the dash board is nice, the front carpets are newer and the gauges operate. The rear carpets are the originals, a bit dry from age. The headliner in the Chief models are a pressed paper board,...it's in place and looks good,...but you may want to install a fabric headliner with padding for noise reduction. The old Pioneer cassette player is non-op, so a nice sound system with XM would help make long distance travels more enjoyable. Overall, the interior is still nice but a step off the cosmetic pace with the exterior. This is an extremely easy upgrade, I'll be happy to finish it for you here. The Engine, Transmission & 4x4. The 360 V8 is well tuned and runs nice. The transmission shifts as it should both up and down. (Kick down operates as it should) The All Wheel Drive SelectTrac system provides excellent traction on all road surfaces in any weather. Rain, sleet or heavy snow,....theres few 4x4's that have this kind of grip. I would feel comfortable driving this Jeep any distance, even at highway speeds. It steers great, rides nice and the brakes are confident during emergency stops. The Final Word. I hope you like what you see,....most people do. I can't go anywhere without some sort of favorable hand gesture and the drive thru conversations are always complimentary.
