Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 94 S10 with a built 406 and 700r4. I am a ASE Master Tech, Ford senior Chassis Master, have many year of automotive experience and have done multiple V8 swaps in the past. I bought is truck from a buddy, as a half finished project, and it quickly got out of hand. The original idea was a simple V8 swap in a weekend. Well as with most projects it quickly got out of hand. I Pulled the motor and decide I needed to clean up the engine bay but you cannot just do half the frame so I pulled the truck down to a bare frame to repaint it then rebuilt/replaced from there. My weekend project ended up being a multi month rebuild. The truck was finished recently(less then 500 miles) and I hate to sell it but I have realized I am not a truck guy I love Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs so the S10 has to go. I am open for offers, I know I am going to take a loss on a project like this but I have no plans to give it away. I am motivated to sell and will help anywhere I can. Please fell free to email me with questions, concerns, trades, offers. I can also give you my cell to call or text if you prefer. Here is a list of what I can remember is done to it I am sure I am missing things. 400 4bolt Main +.030 (Pulled from a 71 impala wagon) Crank Cut 10/10 Balanced with New SFI flywheel and balancer Rod resized Keith Black 9.5:1 Pistons ARP Main Bolts ARP Wav Loc Rod Bolts Clevite 77 Bearings Main/Rod/Cam GM 882 Heads Ported and Polished Fresh Valve Job and Seals Comp Cams Extreme 284 cam Matching Springs/Locks/Retainers Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Intake Gasket matched to the heads Edelbrock Performer Carb (No choke but has previsions if new owner wants) New Accel HEI with adjustable Vacuum Advance and Super coil Custom Built to length 8mm Plug Wires with Accel Shorty Header Plugs JTR Ceramic Coated Headers 2 ½ Customs Dual Exhaust Smithy mufflers 3 ½ Tips out the rear Cable Cutouts that exit under the Passenger Spring Hanger Pull Handle located next to driver seat New Cooling System (Never runs hot) Corvette radiator Dual 12” Electric Fans (on 180 Temp Switch) New Staring/Charging Summit 105 amp 1 wire alt Optima Yellow top (Mount to the Frame on the Passenger side) With new Cables and quick disconnect New high torque starter New Front Accessories on Motor New Water Pump New Power steering Pump Billet aluminum Crank and Water Pump Pulleys All New Fuel System New Tank New Sending unit(Modified to remove the in tank Pump) 3/8 Fuel line 110 gph Fuel pump Transmission is a 700r4(Pulled from a 89 Suburban) Rebuilt with performance Clutches and Steels Trans Go HD2 Shift Kit Corvette Servos .500 Boost Valve 2500 rpm Stall converter Large external Trans Cooler added in front of the Radiator Rebuilt Rear 3.73 Gears g80 gov-lock locker New Timken Bearings Frame was all Striped and Media Blasted Painted enamel Chassis Black 3” c channel added to help Support the rear frame rails Suspension all Rebuilt 3” lowering Belltech Leafs in the Rear 2” Drop Spindles 2” Drop Coil Springs New Shocks on All 4 corners Brakes Gone through and Rebuilt New Calipers and Pads up front New Wheel Bearings Line Locs(solenoid installed but not currently wired, I can put the switch anywhere the buyer would like) New Brake lines Interior is Clean mostly factory Bucket Seats out a Older S10 Sport Floor Shifter from a Newer S10 Blazer Auto Meter Electric Sport comp Gauges Speedometer Tach Oil Pressure Water Temp Volt Fuel Level Exterior is Sour Apple Green Metallic (Does have a few flaws as shown but looks good overall) Roll Pan Welded in an Smoothed M3 Style Side Mirrors (though I have the stockers which will be included) Repainted this Summer (for a change from the boring baby Blue it was) Bed pulled to paint between along with all the Door jams No rust on any of the panels Bed floor does have dents and dings (a previous owned must have used it to haul) Cragar SST wheels 15x4 up front 205/65/15 A/S about ¾ tread 15x10 in the Back 275/60/15 Hoosier a little over ½ Tread Centers of the wheels do have some pitting from rust when they where sitting All wiring was done through the Factory fuse box so it is protected and works as it should. I have included build photos to give you an idea how much work was done to this truck. They show the truck in various stages of assembly, but please note the truck is complete and done not a project. The truck runs great starts quickly, you do have to play with the throttle for about 30 seconds till it gets a little heat so it will idle on its own, remember it has no choke. This truck is loud and fast, it turns heads every where it goes and there is no mistaking it for stock With the Overdrive in the 700r4 it runs down the high way all day with no problem. It has not been driven in the rain or snow since finished nor has it been to the track so I do not have a time slip. The motor was estimated at between 450-475 hp and has more in it. You are more then welcome to come see the truck in person but, the truck does not currently have insurance or registration so I would require cash in my hand if you want to test drive. (You wreck it you own it)
