1970 Pontiac GTO Coupe. This car was purchased at Brake GMC Pontiac, Waynesboro PA, in 1970. Traded in 1974 and purchased by a local family. I bought the car from the second owners in July 2011. Numbers match. I have documentation from Pontiac Historical. Nicely equipped with a 400 ci 350 hp engine, THM 400 trans, 3.23 rear axle, Air Condtioning (Cold!), Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Remote Mirror, Eight Track Tape Player (Works!) and some other small options. The car has 107,000 miles on it but runs and drives very well. The previous owners (father and son) were GM dealership mechanics and the car got whatever it needed over the years. The car was repainted and some minor rust repair performed in 1986. The paint job is a body shop enamel job that is nowhere near show but has a nice shine. Overall the car looks very nice. The interior appears to be original and in nice driver condition. Glass appears to be original and is in good condition. This is a real decent turnkey driver that you can drive away with confidence. Starts right up, drive away, no problem. I have driven the car at highway speeds and around town in traffic. Runs fine, no issues, drive it anywhere. Not much else to say, I won't ramble on about how great and wonderful and grand this car is. It's just a good old "sorta" original cruiser. Jump in, drive the snot out of it, or start a real easy restoration. Same old story, too many cars not enough space for storage AND big winter projects!
