Vehicle Detail

This car was a barn find in Valley Center CA. The guy that owned it before me got it new. He drove it for 2 years then had a stroke and parked it in the barn. When I got it the speedo said 41503 but the temp, oil and fuel gauge did not work so we replaced the cluster with one from the junk yard that now reads 143087 The car was smogged at 41520 miles on 3/25/11 at the E.P. Smog center in Escondido CA. I then drove it to Discount tires on the same day 3/25/2011 at 4:07 P.M. and got new tires at 41531 miles. I then drove it to the junk yard and got the cluster because I was affraid a car that had sat for 10 years might be overheating or have low oil pressure and I might not know it because of the bad cluster. Put the new cluster in that was said to have less then 50000 miles and it said 140893. I was upset but the oil, temp gauge work so I went with it. The fuel and amp still do not work so who ever buys the car will have to deal with this head ache. The car runs great. If I do the math the car has around 45000 miles I would guess. If the bid goes over 8000 I will take the car to the dealer with my paper work and they said they would fix the whole cluster and correct the miles on the new one to match the car. Heller Ford in Escondido is who I called and that is the dealer the car came from new. So get passed that and on to new tires, Ice cold A/C (we did'nt have to charge it but we did evac and clean and recharge with new oil to be safe) New rotors and top of the line pads in front. New pads in back. Oil is super clean in the engine. Trans fluid was still nice red color and looked new. We changed both. Same with the rear diff. We changed the throw out bearing because of loud clutch sound but the clutch looked brand new so we left stock. We changed the oil seals that are known for leaking near the oil filter housing that bolts to the engine (fun fun). Everything works great on the car other then the cluster amp and fuel. I know its the cluster because I tried another one from a friends mustang and the amp and fuel worked fine with his. We have not added anything yet so it is bone stock other then throw out bearing is upgraded. The car is fast with no leaks and I have driven it plenty of times to know if it has any problems and it does not.
