The car is in great shape overall. I've maintained it mechanically meticulously and it has been my baby as long as i've had it. I owned a classic car shop and this was my personal car that I'd drive to go get my gto convertible for weekend driving. I wouldnt even consider selling it but financial obligations have arisen for me and now I'm forced to sell my baby much to my dismay. The reserve is very very reasonably priced. Its significantly lower than the buy it now. Bid and good luck. I replaced the suspension with adjustable bc racing coilovers which hug the ground fantastically. You can control the softness/hardness of the ride with 30 different levels of damping. All the way hard is perfect for nice flat roads and surfaces middle is a nice balance for aggresive driving and all the way soft is a cushy ride. The car can be raised and lowered in about thirty minutes with the tools I will include in the sale from BC racing. The car has a factory mazdaspeed cold air intake cai which is a mazda green part and fine with the factory warranty. There are powerslot slotted rotors on the front with about 500 miles on them. With EBC greenstuff brake pads. I've installed a step colder platinum plugs which make for a smoother larger power band. I've also installed a forge bypass valve bpv as the car is designed to be run recirculated. It holds another 2 pounds of boost over the leaky factory one. I've also installed a protege garage engine torque damper which helps direct the power to the wheels. Also I've replaced the factory faulty rear motor mount which is known as the only real problem on these cars with an upgraded trz dogbone motormount. I've addressed all of the factory issues with this car and it handled superbly to start and now is an absolute animal on the road. I also have cobb swaybars and a corksport testpipe available if the buyer is interested for additional money. They are used but in perfect shape, I just never got around to installing them after I picked them up. I also have a msd Dash hawk ecu reader which can read everything in the engine. I use it as a boost gauge/ shift light mostly available for extra as well. Might throw it in if the bidding gets high. Its really nice. The car was only driven through one winter and it was garaged and that was only a couple miles a week if that. primarily driven in the summertime in NY. The accident that I had in it was very minor. I was rear ended at a stop sign at 5 miles an hour. It cracked a lens on the back bumper and put a small dent in the plastic. I simply pocketed the money for the repair then some jerk bumped the back bumper in a parking lot scraping the side of the back bumper. I took a picture of it in a close up. Its not bad at all i'm just trying to let the buyer know.
