Vehicle Detail

this RAM is a body off project, the truck was prepped and based in silver and a heavy metal flake brandywine paint was applied with flames and other unusual paint tricks to make you look and have the paint play with the eye. The paint scheme is Chameleon. The paint changes colors as you move around the truck or as someone is watching it drive by. Bright sun enhances this effect. The engine compartment has been painted to match the exterior. Color changing flames on the fender wells with real smoke captured in the flames. the frame was prepped, primed and painted flat black. The steel hood was replaced with a custom fiberglass hood. The exterior door handles and gas door were shaved. All of the chrome trim, front grille, headlight frames, light lenses, taillight lenses, and side marker lenses are all new. The paint applied to the truck extends thru the door jams and into the wells and the interior of the doors. THE INTERIOR The original bench seat was removed and replaced with custom bucket seats. Before the seats were installed, the new leather covering was removed. The seats has extra padding installed for a beefy, more comfortable ride. The seats were then covered with a soft tan Brazilian leather. The entire interior cab, including the trim, dash, sun visors and headliner have been covered in Brazilian leather.Flames were embossed into the bucket seats with thread creating the flames matching the Brandywine paint color. The headliner is very special. there is a RAM embossed into the leather and it covers the whole head liner from door to door. the dash panel is original with the original am/fm radio. The small pocket opening between the 4wd switch and the A/C outlet was covered with a thin peice of black and two small brushed siver sport comp guages were installed. The automatic shift selector was relocated from the column to the floor using a custom brushed aluminum 12" Lokar shifter with small round brushed silver push button knob. The chrome 4x4 floor shifter is original except that a ram hood ornament was adapted to the handle. The original steering column was replaced with a Flaming River polished billet, lazer cut one of a king "RAM" steering wheel from a single peice of billet, without any welds. All of the original wiring in the truck was removed and replaced with a painless system. Interior door opening handles still funtion normally. the original steering rod was replaced with a new chrome one. 4wd was changed to manuel Warn Lock-in system. THE ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN AND COMPONENTS The original 318 c.i. V-8 was replaced with a 1976 400 c.i. Big Block. The "452" hardened seated heads were sent to the shop where the 180/160 valves were replaced with new 2.14/180 valves and all new components. The heads were pocket ported. An aluminum Edelbrock dual plane intake was installed and topped with a new Holley 670 dual feed carb. The new distributor is powered by Pertronics with a Flame Thrower coil supplying the fire with new Taylor 8mm plug wires distributing the spark. It has matching black valve covers by Mopar Performance. The brake booster and master cylinder were replaced to accomodate the tall Big Block valve covers. There is a serpentine belt system in place with the March polished aluminum pulleys. A custom aluminum fan pushes the air around. The original power steering unit was replaced with a remote system fitted with the serpentine pulley. The original radiator was replaced with an "AFCO" aluminum racing radiator and chrome reserve water tank. Polished aluminum water outlet, belts and hoses all new. Block hugger headers handle the gases and flowing into a brand new exhaust system from front to back using Flowmaster mufflers and 4" 45 degree cut polished tips under the rear bumper. original transmission stick replaced with Lokar's Billet system. The transmission is the a 727 Automatic with a 2500 stall converter. The rear end is powered by a new (410) posi-traction unit. Tires are Cooper 12.50's x 33" and sitting on slotted Mickey Thompson mags. The battery is located in the diamond plated tool box directly behind the cab. The original gas tank was removed and a new 22 gallon fuel sell installed with the chrome fuel door in the bed as you can see in the pics, the gas guage does work. Fuel is delivered by a 6-7 lb chrome mechanical pump. the only real issue i know of with the truck is that it has automatic door openers with an alarm system that opens the doors from a key chain. it has not been finished yet but i have everything to finish it with, besides that pictures do not do this truck justice. there is not a part on this truck you cant eat off of. I also have alot of receipts and paperwork with this truck, the receipt on the interior alone was $ 5,404.88. im guessing almost $30,000 worth of parts and labor in this truck DELIVERY im selling this truck as pickup only, but if you email or call me before bidding i might can arrange delivery depending on location, feel free to call or email with any questions (276) 608-2803, please leave a message.
