Vehicle Detail
1964 Chevy II / Nova Straight Axle Gasser, NHRA B/G Legal in 1965, This car has never been raced, built as a attention getting cruiser, De-stroked SB 400 with a 327 3.25" Forged Crank, thats the same as a 327 bored .165 over. 354 Cu In, Hot Rod Magazine called it "The 350 Chevy should have made" It's got Flat top Pistons, 6.20 Eagle rods, Comp Cams Hyd Cam (Part Number 12-246-3) Patriot Aluminuim Angle Plug Heads, Victor Intake, Holley 750 Duel feed carb, HEI Dist, Fenderwell Headers with cutouts to mufflers, Saginaw 4 Speed with Hurst Comp Plus Shifter ( Real Gassers have 3 pedals) New 11" Clutch Kit, Ford 9" 4:11 Posi, Slapper traction bars, Speedway Motors Straight Axle Disc Brake front end kit, Chevelle 525 Chevy manual (front steer) steering box, Original M&H Racemasters Pie Crust Slicks, Front axle is set forward 5" for that Altered wheelbase look, Rear quarters are radiused for that Old School Gasser touch, Body is solid except for amature repais to the front floor in front of the front seats. This Car has never been raced, it was built as a Daily Driver and a fun Cruiser to NHRA B Gas rules for 1965, They required full interior with door panels, but roll bars weren't required. Front seats are low back Camaro, ( Need Recovered) Back seat is stock, door panels are aluminum sheet, dash is un-cut and has Factory Nova SS guages. (Tach and Gas guage doesn't work but I have a VDO fuel guage) It runs and drives REAL nice, the header flange block offs can be removed in seconds for that special sound on cruse night at Bob's. This car draws a crowd wherever it goes, Except for the slicks, It's completely street legal, I drive it all over, (even to the grocery store, you should see the looks I get there) all the lights and turn signals work, goes straight, stops straight, It does have a steering stabilizer, so no front end shake at any speed. Buyer is resposable for pick up or any shipping. Thanks but no trades.
