1981 BJ42 landcruiser with original paint with all original interior,2nd owner since new and has sat for almost 8 years now. Windshield frame is near mint, hood, fenders, roof , frame all is great. Engine has a tad of 100K on it, starts instantly once manual glow switch on dash is held for 15 seconds or turn key bakwards and hold until dash element turns red. This system was probably the best they made with few things to wrong like the 1982-84with glow systems that had many timers and parts. The engine is just broken in and we have seen these trucks with 800 000 kilometers and running strong, will get between 22MPG to 30MPG in stock form. OEM factory exahust system new front to back, batteries appear to be not to old. Wiring has not been touched, everything works as it should. Body mounts, fenders are in good conditon with surface rust all electrical original and uncut. I chose this truck because of how solid it was and had planned on doing some body work, this was a good candidate as I am familiar with the 40 series landcruisers after owning Radd Cruisers for ten years. I have very little time with teenagers and would like to see someone else buy this truck and restore it to original condition as this truck has not been touch right down to the original radio and cover plate toyota sold with this truck. Turn signal bulb for right side needs replacing, parking brake cable seized and needs replacing, front floors have through rust along with perforations on the bed along with some rust on doors.
