This is an excellent opportunity to get a one owner survivor type Mopar that has more character than anything on the road. This car is just cool. It is a lifelong CA blue plate, completely stock 1973 Plymouth Scamp that had been in Santa Monica its entire life. This car will be the hit of a car show or cruise night not only because it is nice, but the originality of it, with it’s totally 70’s color combination. Retro is in and this car looks like a 1970s time machine. If you want a clean California car that runs and drives like a brand new 1973 Scamp, THIS IS IT!! You really don't see a super clean V8 Scamp, Demon, Dart, or Duster around too much these days (they are usually slant sixes in green, tan or brown colors) and if you do they are almost always modified hot rods. Don't get me wrong. I like those cars too. It is just a fact that most are not unmodified V8, unmolested examples like this one. You can tell a car that has been lovingly cared for its whole life and has always been garaged. It has a 318 c.i. V-8, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory AM radio, and COLD AIR CONDITIONING. The original glass and chrome are in great shape. The floorboards are beautiful and are as nice as you will find on an unrestored car. It still has the original Polyglas spare tire. The body on the car is excellent, as you would expect from a life-long Cali car. The car is such a great car that it really deserves a high end re-paint in its original color and you would have a show car. All of the gauges, lights, signals, heater, radio, etc. all work fine. Even the factory door buzzer, annoying as it is, still works. Factory hubcaps on good whitewall tires. Steering wheel is chipped up and horn doesn’t blow. Just an all around nice clean Mopar that can be taken any direction you want or enjoyed as is. Everybody loves this little Mopar and you will too.
