2005 Suzuki DR-Z 400SM This auction is for my own Suzuki DRZ400SM. This bike is in excellent shape as can be seen in the pictures. The full story on this machine is as follows. I am the third owner. The original owner ordered it brand new from the dealer while overseas in the military. When he returned to pick it up he instantly started to modify it with the best parts available. He then found out he was getting deployed again so he decided to sell it. The previous owner rode it to work for a couple years and then decided it was time to part with it. Besides the bike having low miles, it has over $3,000 in accessories and mods. This bike is very fast and still gets 48 mpg. It handles absolutely amazing on and off road. The only issues are that it will need a rear tire probably within 500 miles. They are super soft Pirelli Scorpions, which aren't the longest lasting tire due to the soft compound of the tread. The other issue is a small nick in the paint on the gas tank. Its been touched up and doesn't show up on camera. As far as the extras and mods done to the bike, here are all of them that i know of: -All new Black plastics and Tank. (original yellow plastics and tank included in good shape) -Silver Star Complete Graphics Kit -(2) SDG Seats included. The blue one is stock size, and the black grip seat has an extra 2 inches of padding height. (both included) -Vapor Digital dash module. (Includes programmable speedometer, tachometer, miles, distance in miles and time, lap times, and engine coolant temp) -EXCEL complete wheels with stainless spokes. Front 17"x3.25", Rear 17"x5" (to accept up to a 160 rear tire) -Pirelli Sorpion Sync Supermoto tires. Front 120/70ZR17 1/2 tread. Rear 150/70R17 1/4 tread. -Light Speed Carbon Fiber frame covers. -IMS Pro-Series bear trap Foot Pegs. -AKRAPOVIC Titanium full exhaust. Titanium from head to pipe. (Loud and Awesome!) -SM Pro L.E.D. Taillight assembly with license plate relocated to wheel well. -Barnett Heavy Duty Clutch upgrade -Renthal handlebars with pad, bash guards, and aluminum bar ends. -Russell stainless braided brake hoses and cables. -Cylinder base gasket replaced with a thinner Cometic. Higher compression ratio but still runs on pump gas no problem. -Keihin Flatslide carburetor -Big O series air filter with foam prefilter -3x3 conversion to the air box. This bike runs perfect, and starts instantly. It has a great combination of performance upgrades tuned to perfection. It has not ever been raced. I hate to see it go but i need to sell it to fund other projects. My loss is your gain. I do have the bike for sale locally, so I do hold the right to remove the bike from the auction at any time.
