Vehicle Detail
1964 Plymouth Barracuda FOR SALE 1964 was the 1st year for the Barracuda and it’s easily identified by the huge rear window and fold down rear seat. • This vehicle has the original 273 cid V-8 with a 3 spd tranny, the motor runs great and has no problems. • There were no major rust issues when we got the car and all body work has been done and covered with a fresh coat of beautiful high quality Dupont sublime green paint, ,shiny clearcoat with double black stripes. • The interior is in good shape with new visors, new headliner, new carpet throughout, new glove box, kick boards and more.. • *The interior was not repainted but is in good original condition. • The factory air conditioning has a new a/c compressor and dryer (but it does not get as cold as it should). • New water pump, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, new brake master cylinder, new voltage regulator, new alternator. • It has 4 new 14" tires and matching original hubcaps. • All glass is original with no cracks or chips. • All trims and moldings are on car. • It has a new alternator and voltage regulator. Things that need addressing: • The grill has a small knick in it and the paint needs touching up in a couple places (we have original paint codes etc.). • The heater core leaks and has been bypassed, so there is no heat at this time. • The exhaust system needs to be replaced eventually. ******************************** This is a great car and very dependable it has been a daily driver since restoration.
