Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1969 Dodge Charger General Lee clone. Painted Hemi Orange single stage enamel with vinyl decals. Paint has a few flaws and touchups. Decals custom made to my specifications. Car was a green on green 318 car from the factory. Car has Dixie Horn, with push button inside. The car has a CB and antenna very similar to the show used units. The wheels are the correct 10 spoke rims. They are 15x7 unilug with decent tires. Interior is Light Buckskin. The seats are newer, but the rear seat has some punctures that should be repaired. The door panels are in fair condition and have been dyed. The carpet is Saddle, and is newer. Headliner is newer, and could use some restretching at the rear sail panels. Overall, looks pretty good. Car does not currently have front seatbelts. There are some in the rear, but the are incorrect black GM seatbelts (if I remember right). The car is a 318 Automatic car with 4bbl carb and headers. The car runs and drives, but needs a tune up, and brake job to make it truely road-worthy. Carb needs adjusted, and needs some linkage work. For these reasons, I wouldn't suggest driving it home unless you're pretty local. Car is missing the washer bottle and pump, the original horns, and the trunk lock cylinder. The chrome is not perfect---the front bumper and the driver's vent window are the worst, and really need redone. Windshield is new. Has the hood mounted turnsignals. I "MAY" have new lenses for these, which I will throw in, if I can find them. Car looks great from 10 feet, and draws a lot of attention. It is not perfect by any means. With some light mechanical work, the car will be an awesome driver. The floorboards were patched with flat sheet metal, and the bracing needs some repair underneith, as does the torsion bar crossmember. Buyer is to pay $750 via paypal within 48 hours of auction end, with balance due prior to vehicle leaving my property. Deposit is non-refundable. Vehicle is sold "AS IS" with no warranty or guarantees expressed or implied. (The car is 42 years old, after all). Anticipated questions; Q; Does Daisy come with the car? A: Not the real one, but if it makes you feel good, I'll throw in an 8" Mego Daisy doll for you. Q:Do you have a buy it now? A: Not really, but I know what it's worth, so if you feel like making me an offer, feel free. Q:Will you ship the car to my country? A: I, personally, am not shipping it, you are. If you arrange to have someone get it, and funds have cleared my bank, it can go wherever you send it. Q:Why are you selling it? A: I need the space in my garage, and just really don't drive this as much as I would like. Time for someone else to enjoy. Q: Are you interested in a trade? A: Probably not, but doesn't hurt to ask. Q Can I come see the car? A: Absolutely. I live in Central Iowa, and actually encourage you to come look at it.
