This is not a restored vehicle! Was garaged all it live! Every thing is Original including the paint. Only upgrade, are... Factory Chry Am/Fm “CD” player. this is a plug and play install, NO cut and spliced wire behind this unit! Dealer installed Eng Tachometer. As well as aftermarket EGT and Boost gauges. A “Red River Steering shaft”. Upgraded Turbo Charger and Intercooler system with a Stainless intake air horn, and Polished valve covers. Injection pump rebuild by Baker Diesel and “Tuned Up” to factory spec's(Cummins Spec, not Chry's) upgrades to the pump are: Updated seals for today's diesel fuel. Improved Governor spring (3500 rpm) It's only 2 mouth old! And to improve freeway speed/pulling power, a Gear Vender Over Drive, is attached to the rear of the 5 speed transmission (allows you to split gears as well as having a 6th gear.(double overdrive) To slow it down, it had 1 Ton Rear Brake Shoes and Drums added Trailer Brake Controller Dealer installed Jacobs Exhaust/Engine Brake. HOOK ON TO ANY THING AND TAKE IT ANYWHERES! To top it off, the truck comes with the original owner manual, and, the original owners records of everything that was done to it from the beginning!!!!!!!(I'm the 2nt owner!) In the back of the owners manual, there is a detailed description of everything that has been done to this truck. NOT JUST MANTANCE RECORDS! You won't find anything close to this that hasn’t been restored! I have all the spare part to put it back to original if you so desire. Such as, rear extension housing if you were to remove the overdrive unit. Original turbo and crossover intake air horn. Original intake box and air tube. The turbo and intake system is off of a 2nt gen Cummins (94-99) so replacement part are easy to find. I also have some spare turbo boots and hoses that can go with the sell of the truck All turbos mentioned are in Good shape. This truck has 4:10 Gear and with out the “overdrive unit” turned on......65mph is about all she will do(just like any other 4:10 geared First Gen Dodge/ Cummins) With the Gear Vender turned on, it will cruise competently at 80 MPH+. With or without a load on it!......and still have plenty of power to past as well. The Gear Vender make it fun to drove on the freeway!!! As far as the intercooled go's. I used all 2nt Gen intercooler parts (aka 1994-98 Dodge/Cummins trucks)so it will be easy to find part for it. The only part of the intercooler system that isn't from a 2nt gen is that BIG MOUTH intake air horn you see in the eng pic's The paint is not perfect by any means but it's ORIGINAL PAINT! What ever problems there is, is out in the open........with a fresh paint, it looks Grate.......but you don't know what is lurking beneath it. EVERYTHING ON THESE TRUCK WORKS AND WORKS PROPERLY! This Truck is 20 years young, now. And is in Excellent shape.....For it age. On Oct-31-11 at 18:43:41 PDT, seller added the following information: "is attached to the rear of the 5 speed transmission" EDIT: It should read.... "Gear Vender Over Drive Unit is attached to the rear of the transfer case". The Over Drive Unit, makes the 4:10 gear ratio act like a 3:20 gear ratio truck! This truck uses NO oil between oil changes.......and No eng leaks as well! Pull the dip stick and the oil is still clean! 99% of the Diesel, of any brand can't say that! One more note, it also has power mirrors as well.
