Renowned for their amazing comfort, durability, reliability and handling, the 2004 BMW R1150RT represents one of the finest motorcycles ever built. Unique to the 2004 model is the twin-spark engine, which eliminated the occasional surging on earlier models.Purchased just last year and freshly serviced at BMW of San Jose, CA, this pristine example has zero issues; it has never been dropped or down. It is equipped with a full set of factory luggage which is in excellent condition. The Titan Silver paint is shiny and shows no evidence of any damage. Whether you want to commute or save the bike as I have for occasional weekend trips, it has a brand new (extraordinarily comfortable) $600 Sargent rider and passenger seat with the carbon fiber pattern and the BMW tri-color inset near the tank. Also new is a Cee Bailey euro-cut windscreen which, of course, offers electric adjustment on this model. The spacious trunk has been fitted with a comfortable memory foam backrest, which makes the bike all-day comfortable for the passenger. Adding to your long-distance riding comfort is a huge 6-gallon tank for extended range, Throttlemeister mechanical cruise control, and heated grips for those cool evening rides. All the luggage is readily removed and allows comfortable sport riding with superb handling and comfort. Other than those custom touches, the bike is entirely stock and unmolested. Everything works as new on this motorcycle, which shows pride of ownership and extreme care. It is ready for a cross-country tour and is 50-state certified. The 2004 BMW R1150RT features ABS-II integrated anti-lock braking for complete safety and control, which is why so many police agencies rely on these motorcycles.I love these bikes so much, I've had three of them. This is the best one I've ever owned; it's a beautiful example of a fine motorcycle and it is extremely unlikely you will ever find another one in such excellent condition, so wonderfully accessorized (with nothing but the best) and with such low mileage.
