Normal 0 A great looking, running and driving 1963 Porsche 356B Coupe for sale. There are plenty of receipts that come with the car. It is an original California car purchased by a man who was living in Monterey Park CA at the time. It then found its way to Texas and Florida for a little while, but has now been back in California for a few years. Receipts show valuable upkeep and show a restoration done back in 1996 totaling over 280 hours. The restoration was done by a shop in Whittier CA and shows the following: Vehicle has original floor pan. Battery box floor replaced to factory new, Engine and transmission rebuilt to like new condition including original factory decals. Exterior repainted to original factory Ivory (Glasurit Paint). Interior completely redone by Autos International All chrome replated. Brakes and suspension totally replaced for a solid ride. All seals and moldings replaced with “new old stock” and original German rubber. The car has been well maintained since its 1996 restoration and comes with all receipts showing what other work and maintenance has been done up to present day. The car also comes with a Drivers Manual and previous owner info. The body is straight and the car looks fantastic going down the road. There are some imperfections in the paint. Only two that stand out, some chips and cracking on the hood and near the driver side tail light. These areas are detailed in the close-up photos. All instruments on the dash work, with the exception of the clock. All of the exterior lights (turn signals, etc.) work. These short wheel based cars are a ton of fun to drive. This little bathtub Porsche runs great and can be driven daily exactly as it is. Any improvements made would only increase the value of your investment.
