Vehicle Detail

Introducing the 2003 Lexus IS300 Luxury Sedan. I bought this car four years ago and have since been working for a year and a half. I just bought a 2007 Nissan 350Z and am selling my Lexus IS300. There is not a thing wrong with this car; my Dad was selling his 350Z and I decided to take it off his hands. Throughout ownership, I have taken very good care of it and completed regular servicing and all scheduled maintenance. This vehicle is in great condition and is a smoker-free car. It has been maintained very well and only has 70K miles on it. Both the onyx black exterior and the tan leather interior have been kept very clean and damage free. It has no dents, dings, mechanical issues, or problems. This car runs, looks, and drives like new. Please stop by and look at/test-drive it, if possible. It drives like a dream. It has a salvage title. I bought the car from Precision Autos. Precision Autos is an automotive company that does amazing work. I bought this car and my brother bought his car from them, my Dad had his 2007 Mercedes Benz’s engine replaced there, and we bought the Nissan 350Z from them as well; they also do all of our family’s miscellaneous auto repairs. We put all of our faith in this company, we know the owner, and have never had a problem with their work. I have driven my Lexus IS300 for four years and have never had any troubles with it, it drives straight as an arrow, I have kept up to date with all of the maintenance/taken very good care of it, and it doesn’t have any problems. Many people are not familiar with a Salvage title. Below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, the insurance company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, no! Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the insurance company and the year of the car, insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. Precision Autos has bought "Total Loss" cars from insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief, Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. Precision Autos does not buy anything with major damage. No Reserve. Buyer is responsible for shipping and/or pickup of the vehicle and I will assist in any way that I can. If you are the winning bidder, please contact me within 24 hours of winning the auction by phone (817) 874-2313 or by email through eBay or zkwhitt@gmail.com to set up payment arrangements. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit which must be paid within 24 hours of winning the auction. This deposit can be made through PayPal to zkwhitt@gmail.com or by wire transfer. The remaining balance is due within five days of making the deposit. As final payment for the vehicle, I will accept a cashier’s check or cash. I will not release the title until funds are cleared. Must be 18 years of age or older to bid. If you would like any additional pictures of the car, please let me know and I will send them to you. Good luck and happy bidding. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT (817) 874-2313. Thank You! -Zach WhittOn Oct-27-11 at 19:12:55 PDT, seller added the following information: *Update – Since I have received multiple questions pertaining to the car’s salvage title, I decided to call who I bought the car from and he told me that this car has a salvage title because it was bought from the insurance company as a theft recovered vehicle. It had been stolen and then recovered (undamaged & unwrecked) after the insurance company had to pay out for it, giving it a salvage title. So bid with confidence! And be sure to check out the history report.
