Up for sale is my pride and joy a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDi featuring the legendary 1.9L Turbo DIESEL engine, and a smooth shifting and crisp automatic transmission. This car literally runs - drives - handles like new! The 1.9L motor starts right up and sounds excellent. With 105K miles this motor has just broken in, for those of you who are not familiar with these cars they're good for over 400K! I bought this car from the original owner, it has spent almost its entire life in North Carolina and has only seen 1 New England winter. There is none of that all too common New England rust. Always adult non smoker owned and never abused. Its in great shape in and out and positively a joy to drive! Its mostly stock except for a few tasteful upgrades that enhance the driving experience, and appearance of this unique, fun and frugal car! Its been treated to: A full '04 gli interior, including Recaro front and back seats, all black interior & carpet with brushed aluminum trim, matching brushed aluminum shift knob, brushed aluminum dead pedal, gli headlights and taillights, chrome mirror housings, euroswitch, Eclipse Cd4000 Cd/mp3 player with iPod interface, Infinity Kappa speakers all around (sounds amazing) 17" ASA Wolfsburg replica wheels (black with a polished lip), matching Continental ContiPro tires with good tread, euro-spec 4motion front lip, oem VW all weather mats, upgraded injectors (.205 euro-spec) and euro-spec ecu tune, ads +25HP and +35 lb/ft torque, Autometer Pro-comp pillar mounted turbo boost gauge, DTM upturned exhaust, Bosch windshield wipers, Mercedes trunk all weather mat, anodized red tow-hook, etc. This car has been our absolute pleasure to own and drive, we have spared no expense caring for it. It receives regular washes and waxes. I just personally changed the oil with fully synthetic diesel specific oil. I used an OEM VW oil filter, and also changed the fuel filter using an OEM VW filter. The only "bad" thing is that the body and interior are not absolutely perfect. This is a used car, after all, so there are some small dents/nicks/scratches/scrapes/etc that you can see in the photographs, and being that it is from NC there is some slight paint fading on the roof and hood. I could not get this to appear in photos. I use a high quality wax which makes it all but unnoticeable. That being said, the overall condition is very good. The pictures show everything, so take a minute to look at them to see the condition of the interior and exterior.As you can see I bought this car to keep for the long haul, but a change in my living situation forces sale. This car is a great investment and it will pay itself off getting 46+ MPG, and with only 105,000 miles it should last for many many years and 100s of 1000s of miles!
