Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Station Wagon. It's in very good overall condition with 60,000 original miles. It runs great and everything works, including the A/C. It has A/C power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, power/heated mirrors, rear defog and the rare factory c/d player. It has the third rear seat that opens up, looks to have never been used. It runs and drives great with only 60k miles. All windows go up and down well. It's never given me any problems in the 2 years that I've owned it. It's the Lt-1 engine, same as the Corvette and Z-28 Camaro. 260 horsepower. The car is all original, hasn't been modified or messed with in any way. Factory exhaust, nice and quiet. A great all original wagon, these are getting harder and harder to find these days, especially in great condition and unmodified. They only made 5361 of these in 1995 and only a handful of them had the factory C.D. player installed. Doesn't have the woodgrain either as a lot of them do. No leaks and everything works as it should. Clean body with no visible rust as many of these tend to have. Tires in good condition, a little over 2 years old. It has the 2.56 rear and gets 25 m.p.g. on the highway. Factory tow hitch which was never used. Car was garaged up until I bought it, which was 2 years ago. Never driven in snow. No check engine lights or any other warning lights. Speedometer works and and doesn't go on and off, like some of them tend to do. The interior is in excellent condition as well, a small area where the headliner meets the driver's door are where they always wear and a tiny wear spot (about an inch)on the carpet, near the driver's left foot, where they all tend to wear. A few small things need attention. They are all minor and can be fixed in one afternoon. The power steering pump whines. It's been this way since I bought the car and hasn't gotten any worse since I've owned it. The pump works fine and doesn't bind, leak or anything bad, but will eventually need to be changed out. Also, the center link has a little bit of play in it, so I would eventually change it. This is a common problem with these cars and it's not hard to change. There is a little bit of play in the steering while driving due to this, but it's not bad at all. Also, the underhood light doesn't work, needs a new one. That's all, the car runs and drives great and has never given me any problems. I changed out the original shocks and rear springs as they were worn. I used Gabriel heavy duty shocks with Moog Cargo Coil springs. It has a nice ride, not too soft or too firm, rides great. It comes with both sets of original chip keys, owner's manual and some extra parts including 3 hubcaps, two tail lights and a couple of other parts. Also, a have a brand new set of those plastic air dams that go underneath the front of the car. They tend to get scraped up on driveways, speed bumps, etc. The ones that are on there are scraped up a bit, so I bought new GM ones. They will be included. I bought the car from the second owner, who knew the first owner. He told me that the first owner couldn't drive anymore, so knowing the car and how well it was taken care of, knowing the history of it and condition, so he wound up buying it even though he didn't really need it. He used it sparingly since he had many other cars. He basically used to it go to his vacation house once in a while. So, after hearing that and seeing how nice it was, I bought it right on the spot. Now, I've decided to sell both of my cars and only keep one car, instead of two. I've recently sold my Camaro, if you look under my feedback, you can see the past auction for it. The guy who bought it loves and gave me great feedback for the deal. Whoever buys this car will really like!! A paypal deposit of 300 is required within 48 hours of purchase. This is to show that you are a serious buyer. I can hold the car for up to 2 weeks after the end of auction. Buyer is responsible for pickup. If you need assistance in finding a shipper, I'll give you the contact information of the company that shipped my old Camaro to the new owner. He's been using them for years without any problems. Forgot to add: The car has a non posi rear end and has the regular rear suspension, not the load leveling one that always seems to break.
