Vehicle Detail
I bought this car from Universal Sales & Classic Cars in Maryland and it Looks & Runs FLAWLESS. I've never had it to a track, it has very low miles since restoration (3-5K), and there is absolutely nothing it needs except a good home. I'm over 50 and use it solely for an occasional weekend cruise around town and a few local cars shows/gathering (it's the center of attraction anywhere it goes). I have 3 cars (2 are Prostreet one is a company car) and my son just turned 17 so unfortunately one of my toys must go. This is the original add from Classic Cars 1972 Nova Pro Street Yenko Clone - Recently restored and built ready to rock-n-roll!! Super straight, very solid body that boasts show quality Solar Yellow bc/cc paint. It has all new chrome, trim and weatherstripping too. It has a 3" cowl fiberglass hood and fiberglass bumpers front and rear. The back was professionally installed and done in steel. Very nice!! The interior looks awesome. It has new Recaro fully adjustable racing bucket seats, new carpet and door panels, and a 8 point roll cage that was professionally installed and wrapped. It also has Autometer gauges with a painless wiring system. Even the trunk has been finished off. The engine is a ground pounding "pump gas" 461 c.i. big block that was built for bracket racing. We were told that it has the best of the best. For internals, all I know is this beast really hits hard and runs strong. The trans is a race prepped TH-400 with 3000 stall converter. The rear is a narrowed 12 bolt posi with 4:30 gears and strange axles. Ladder bar coilover rear suspension, power steering, Weld Wheels with Mickey Thompson tires and 3" Flowmaster exhaust. It also has an MSD ignition system and a whole lot more!! This car was initially built as a father/son project to bracket race but turned out to be much nicer then a race car. It runs super strong and drives super tight. The body, paint and interior are all show quality. If your in the market for a very well built, bad-ass that you can drive to the race track and run low 11"s all day and drive to your local cruise nite / car show that same night, this is it. No disappointments!! I don't think I can add anything to that except it was kept very true to Don Yenko's vision when it was built (light weight, big motor, no frills). The car does not have Wipers or Heat, and it is 4 wheel Drum Brakes. The Brakes work perfect, it doesn't pull, it stops great, and it drives flawless. It has amazing oil pressure, runs cool, and you can drive it in 95 degree sun all day long. This is NOT a 1000 HP Track Car, this is a 450 - 500 HP Street/Strip Beast that runs flawless on pump gas.
