Vehicle Detail
this started as a 1978 Dodge Warlock 318 with 727. Over the last 3 years i have taken the frame down, coated it with POR-15, re-built the suspension, ball joints, control arm bushing uppers and lowers, tie rod ends inners and outers. new stainless steal brake lines, new brake booster with master cylinder. cab is rust free, no metal or fiberglass patch work. doors are also rust free, no patch work. step-side bed is also rust free, still need attention, minor body work. cab, doors, hood, radiator support, have all been painted. I had this idea of doing a two-tone, bad idea, I thought all orange would be too much, saw one done, it looked great. so i was going to re-paint after i did the body work on the step-side and found new fenders. tailgate needs body work too. I have two options, sell it, or wait 4 years with it stored outside. so if it sells, my lose your gain, if it doesnt sell I'll wait. so no driveline, no wiring, not much interior, needs tri-angle door glass and frame. moved gas tank to rear, were the spare would have gone. have two grills, both of which need to be worked on or find a better one. new brakes too. have the factory drivers door still, has the VIN still on it. replaced any body part that had rust, no patch work. wagon wheel rims are just rollers, have a set of stock rims too, no gold junk. i will sell this or store this by Nov 12th 2011. so if you want it, your time to get it is short. I am taking a huge loss, your gain. if i still have it, i have a 360 that i may toss in for free if it doesnt sell by then. this is for sale local, if it sells before the auction ends I will update. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY NO SHIPPING, YOU MUST PICK UP PERSONAL EMAIL--- Cummins01man@ then add yahoo dot com or contact thru ebay or call only six-five-one-332-9320 Matt after 5pm to 10pm M-F central time or weekends 8am to 10pm yes Minnesota phone number, but I am in southwest oklahoma. and so is the Warlock. On Oct-25-11 at 17:57:11 PDT, seller added the following information: i am trying to bolt as much of the body back on the truck, but no telling how far I'll get. I would bring a full car trailer, no car dolly's and have pick-up bed to haul extra parts. On Oct-26-11 at 07:14:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Well for those of you that don't believe me, yes the Dodge Warlock were most often seen in black and four wheel drive. But please do the research and you will find the trucks were offered in five or six different colors, and two and four drive. Plus given engine options from a 318, 360, 400 & the 440. The stripes are what make the truck a Warlock, look close at the stripes and you can see the difference. I have seen Dodge trucks with stripes close to a Warlock, but not the right ones. I have bought books and have old catalogs that back up my claims. I replaced body parts rather than doing patch work. I have pictures of my truck prior to all the work I have done, but they are not on digital, they were printed off old camera film. The orginal door I still have which has the proper striping inside and out. Between the printed pictures and the orginal door you will see that my story matches up. Due to age a weather the orginal stripes have lost some of the gold color, well other parts have held there gold. The stripes were not painted, they were just stripe kits. I hope this clears some questions I have been getting. Thank you.On Oct-26-11 at 20:37:30 PDT, seller added the following information: okay, i should have put all this together at one time, but i didn't. here is the deal, I am a soldier who just got orders to leave Oklahoma and report to Alaska in Dec. I have little time. if it would help some bidders out there I am hanging on to my 16 ft car trailer, for now. if you add seven bills to the winning bid, you will get a car trailer to pull it home with. the trailer is more than road worthy, new tires and I will replace the broken tail lights before you come get it. so you can tow it home on a trailer that will also be very useful. the trailer has ramps, quick fix on the lights, i keep breaking them off when i load or un-load scrap metal. The trailer can't weight more than a grand, have already re-packed the bearings. in case this helps you bid or figure out how you would get this home, i still got it. if i do not get my reserve price this week, i may or may not post this next week. i am not afraid to leave this outside for the next 3-4 years. but would like to have some money to buy something to drive when i get to Alaska. On Oct-28-11 at 21:06:17 PDT, seller added the following information: well keep going and you bidders can win this truck, this truck is my money to buy something else to drive when i get to Alaska. few more hunderd to go and you will have it. this is a great starting point to finish a project from. I still the the 1985 360, but i would re-build it, you will need a trans unless you have a driveline of your own. I built a 383 for this truck, i would put the motor and trans for sale, but the five grand i have into the motor and trans, i don't think anybody would give me what I got into to it. if anybody out there has five grand and wants it, about 430hp and 550ftlbs of torque, never been fired. I dont think i'll but it for sale, just because i don't think anybody would pay what i got into it. if i am wrong, let me know, and i'll give more info. 1970 Big block, stock heads, Extreme Energy cam, RPM intake, complete carb to oil plug. new trans to go with it. lots of great parts into this motor. but keep bidding, almost there.
