I say true barn find because this car has been setting in my friend’s garage for the past 40 years. He bought the car in 1967, he said it only had a few miles on it when he bought it however he thinks he is the 2nd owner but just does not remember. His son’s over the years have started and stopped restoring the car several times and are now grown and gone, they did sand off the original white paint from the exterior. We actual hooked a tow strap to it a few weeks ago and pulled it out of its resting spot, then placed it behind my building so we could sell it. Were not putting a reserve on it and a low starting price. The car is going to sell in the next three days to the highest bidder! Now you need to know that there are parts removed from the car most of which are either in the trunk or in the car as far as we can see but there maybe parts missing. The car has not been started in 40 years however it was running when he parked it in the garage. This is a complete restore project, it does not look to have too much rust, looks like there is an area of concern at the drivers side rear quarter panel and a place that looks to be repaired on the passenger side same location that’s about it just walking around the car but we have no way of putting it in the air so it is what it is. I did have a guy come by to look at the car that restores cars and he stated that it was a solid car and that the parts alone are worth 2k who knows and I don’t want to mislead anyone. This car is a project car that does not run and needs to be completely restored, I don’t know how to be any clearer then that. The car is there, the original 6 cylinder engine and the original automatic transmission is there, we do have the title and a notarized bill of sale for the new owner so if you want a project or just want to buy the car to part it out then bid like you want it.
