RARE!!!! 1979 / 1980 F-350 Ranger Lariat 4X4 Up for sale is our 1980 Ford F-350 4X4 Ranger Lariat Edition truck. This truck is VERY, VERY RARE and is one of the finest examples you will find. It was special ordered in Salt Lake City, Utah and has remained in the Southern Idaho High Mountain Desert since new. It is not a restored truck. It is a true survivor with newer paint and a replacement engine. The odometer reads 65,050 miles which is believed to be original. There is no way to verify the milage but by looking at every detail you would believe it to be orignal. To start, this truck is immaculate! It has NEVER been wrecked or hit anywhere. The paint and body is at least an 8.5, probably a 9 out of 10. The stainless trim is a 9.5 and the interior is a 10! The paint is basecoat clearcoat and was painted approx. 7 years ago the original Candy Apple Red. It is beautiful and has been stored inside all it's life. The bed is in excellent condition with no dents and very mild use. Only a few scratches here and there. It is wired and there are bolt holes for a fifth-wheel hitch. There is absolutly NO RUST anywhere! The original 400M engine was replaced approx. 12 years ago for pulling with a 1971 460 with Keith Black Racing Pistons, High Rise Intake, and Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb. The interior has only one known blemish and that is the driver armrest has lifted in one small spot. The rest is in near perfect condition. The dash is perfect and the seat is 98%. 2. All chrome and all stainless is original and in 100% perfect condition. 3. All the glass is perfect! It has a new windshield, and there is a slight aftermarket tint on the side glass and rear sliding window. 4. The underside of the truck is just about as clean as the top. (I have sent pictures to those who requested them) 5. The tire size is 33 X 12.5 X 16.5 and the tires are approx. 50%. 6. The fit and finish is second to none as this truck has never been in any accidents. All panels and moldings fit perfectly. The doors shut and seal like new. NO RATTLES OR WIND NOISE!!! 7. All interior and exterior lights , warning lights, and flashers work like new. 8. There has been and aftermarket brake controller installed along with wiring for a second battery.
