Vehicle Detail

2001 Honda Civic LX Automatic 1.7 Automatic 4 Cylinder 141,570 Miles VIN: JHMES16571S008044 NADA Price Quotes based on Mileage of car in Overland Park, KS: Rough Trade In – $2,325 Avg Trade In - $3,100 Clean Trade In - $3,725 Every required maintenance on the Honda was done starting at 88,700 (Standard Oil Changes, etc) I am selling this car on behalf of my mother. She can provide the past 3 years of maintenance records on the car with the owner’s manual. The car is located in Overland Park, KS. There is average wear and tear on the car. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up. My mom is smoke free! Car was purchased from CarMax at 88,704 miles. · 91,085 – (90,000) Maintenance done – front brake pads replaced, resurfaced rotors, air filter, transmission serviced, cleaned caliper pins · 100,000 Maintenance done - check brakes, check boots, inspect parking brake, clean adjust rear brakes, expect gear box, check master cylinder, check abs, check all fluids, inspect hoses, inspect exhaust · 104,249 – alignment performed · 106,000 – installed 2 way valve bypass, spark plug solenoid · 107,736 – Replaced engine mount, Emissions hose kit installed, installed A/C drive belt, and an after-market A/C compressor or Air Conditioner (A/C Service) · 109,000 – Tires rotated, brakes adjusted · 110,000 Maintenance done – drive belt replaced, new timing belt, belt compressor, new water pump, coolant, gasket cycle head, installed new cam seal plug · 116,000 – installed SRS Driver Inflator (Driver Air Bag) installed (Honda Recall), installed spark plugs only (Honda recall) · 118,487 – New back windshield replaced due to vandalism · 119,000 – Replaced driver side outer CV Boot, resurfaced front rotors, and new brake pads, no adjustment to back brakes · 120,041 – New Bridgestone Insignia Tires (65,000 mile tires) from Team Tires Plus installed (4 tires) · 126,135 – Transmission Brake Fluid Flushed, replaced compliance bushings, evaporation vent valve replaced, new gas cap, HEPA element filter, and passenger ball joint replaced · 129,000 – Alignment performed · 134,148 – Installed new Radiator and changed coolant in radiator, struts replaced and 4 bump stops, installed 2 front disc brakes rotors · 135,948 – Alignment, rotate tires, etc. Was told the oil pan gasket was leaking · 136,000 – both headlamp bulbs replaced · 137,000 – sway bar link replaced · 140,000 – Right brake light bulb replaced, brake fluid flushed and replaced · 141,499 – Battery replaced, alternator tested and passed *These maintenance records will be included and given to the buyer for documentation of work done on the car. *There is an exceptionally small oil leak found at 135,948 miles. The only way to tell is that there is a little bit of oil around the engine. My mom has checked the oil repeatedly, but states it is never low. When she goes into to the Honda Dealership to have the oil changed, they change the oil with the standard amount. My mom states she has never had to add oil and was confused by the statement. *The gasket in the trunk will probably need to be replaced. This gasket helps keep moisture/water from the road from getting into the spare tire well. She was advised this would need to eventually be replaced. There is a possible leak because water is getting into the spare tire’s wheel well. *Two automatic door locks have to be manually pushed up or down. The locks still work but no longer respond to the automatic door locking system. *My mother purchased car from CarMax 3 years ago. When she took it back to get the car appraised, they told her that the car had been painted. She never had the car painted herself so either CarMax painted it or someone else prior to that had it painted. We do not have any records as to why. *Car passed KS state inspection. She is selling this car “as is” since she purchased a newer car. This Honda still has a lot of miles left on it to go. This would be a great starter car for a high school student or college student. These cars are also known for their high gas mileage. Payments A $500 deposit is due within 3 days of the end of the auction with full payment due in 7 days of the end of the auction. The $500 payment can be made via paypal, but the remainder must be a cashier’s check. The car is being sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied.
