Here we have a Suzuki T500. 1970.I bought this bike just recently, it was running perfectly well. I have ridden it around San Francisco for the last month and it has been a blast to ride, the engine is still in great shape, the controls work as they should, electrics run absolutely fine, that's the instrument panel, indicators and both head and tail lights.The starter has just gone however and as a student with a lot of work, i do not have the time or the tools to carry out the work. I have been told by various mechanics that is is just the prawl spring on the starter assembly. This costs $10-20, however the case has to be split. A new starter assembly costs around $70 only.It can still be bump started.Someone with the knowhow or the time could get it running with minimum difficulty and have one of the funnest and coolest rides around.
