Still wearing its original California plates since new. Wearing the most desirable colors of all, Taiga Green. I purchased this Westfalia from the second owner, who owned it for years. It has always been treated like a member of the family. The original exterior looks amazing for being 33-years-old. The interior is BEAUTIFUL as I just had the front seats redone to factory specifications. The poptop canvas will need replacing and that’s it :) The good news is all the floors, rockers, and doglegs are SOLID and untouched. The bus has its correct 2.0 Fuel Injected engine that runs and drives great. It’s fun and easy to drive, so anyone can drive her. It comes with all curtains, mosquito net, and and iceboxes to keep things fresh while camping with the family. All the lights and blinkers are working as they should. You will be HARD-PRESSED to find another 1978 Westfalia like this one. While in my care, it has undergone all necessary needs to create and preserve its originality and reliability to its highest potential. It runs and drives great! It's hard to believe the condition of this 33-year-old Westfalia. How many Westfalias have you seen in this condition after 33 years? All the gaps and panels are factory German perfect. As you can see in the pictures this bus is 100% SOLID as a ROCK. With a few minor dings and scratches over the years, it sports an AWESOME PATINA. Overseas buyers are welcome to bid.
