I am selling a 1969 Jaguar ‘E’ Type with 48,190 miles showing on the odometer for one of my customers. I am the owner of the Imported Car Center in Williston, VT. I have worked on Jaguars for nearly 40 years. The customer brought in the car to get it running for a state inspection. It had been in storage for 4 years. Some $4,000 worth of work later it now purrs like a kitten. It’s a complete car – the body has some rust but is very solid. It’s a great driver. I made it very reliable it can be driven. The engine and transmission are in good condition - oil pressure is good, no smoke. We have just completed a Fuel System refurbish (just rebuilt the 3 SU carburetors, cleaned and refurbished the gas tank, and replaced the fuel pump, lines, filters and choke cable). A total Tune-Up (cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs, points and condenser) was done as well. We also fixed the lights, lenses, some brake work and various miscellaneous items. The car has a cheap paint job that looks good from a short distance. The interior is original and is all there, it is worn. It’s a great driver or one to restore. The state of Vermont didn't require a title when the car was purchased and does not provide titles for vehicles more than 15 years old. The car will be sold with a notorized bill of sale with the following conditions laid out by the State of Vermont DMV: Used Vehicles which have not been titled, and are not required to be titled: Bill of sale must contain sufficient information to identify the vehicle including Make, Year, VIN, Purchase Price, Mileage, Signature of Seller and Date of Sale. A copy of the original Monroney sticker is included in the photos.
