I want to give you a lot of information and hope you feel comfortable with the vehicle. Although I'm not a mechanic, I have been around a lot of vehicles and can give you a good explanation of the vehicle.Allow a few minutes for this page to load all 100 pictures of the vehicle. I also have high resolution copies of all 100 pictures, if you want them emailed to you just let me know.At the bottom of the description there is a live high definition YouTube Video of the vehicle running, make sure to press play to view the HD video.I like a lot of information and pictures about a vehicle, not just a description with 5 or 10 pictures and a few short lines saying " It's perfect, needs nothing, looks new inside and out etc......"A lot of times when people are selling a vehicle they are not too honest about the condition, and the worst thing that can happen is for a buyer to see the vehicle in person and find several un-disclosed flaws with it. I have been there myself and its not a fun feeling.There are things that people would never mention until you noticed them first. Sometimes emails will go to the spam folder.This is a very clean 2003 Chevy S-10 Ext Cab ZQ8 Sport with 35,272 miles. The vehicle has averaged right around 5,300 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle.It's not often I find a S-10 with the ZQ8 suspention package, not many of these are around with low miles so im glad to have this one for your consideration.MechanicallyI usually have my vehicles 4-5 days before I put them up for sale. This allows me enough time to drive them for a couple days before I get them serviced. I like doing this because it gives me a great idea on the mechanical / cosmetic condition of the vehicle. I drove this truck and put around 40 miles on it and it drives great.The vehicle starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. It accelerates without any hesitation and the engine does not make any abnormal noises during acceleration or at idle ( no ticking or knocking ).The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also smooth with no abnormal "jerking" and the steering feels great with no unusual vibrations at highway speeds (65-70 mph).This is a well kept truck and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip.Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic I take my vehicles to has been working on cars for 15 years working for a big new car dealership here in town, he is very good and all my vehicles go to him for the inspection and reconditioning. He has his own ASE certified repair facility and does anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines.He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & rear differential and they were both full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date.There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well.If you do a internet search on these trucks, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 35,000 miles so it still has a lot of life left.I always buy Blazers/Jimmys, S-10 and Sonoma trucks with the 4.3L Vortec V6 because I have never had any problems with them. I have had over 30 of these and they just keep going. They are proven to last and I would rather sell a vehicle with a solid drivetrain reputation then one with a problematic one.The 4.3L Vortec V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for over 20 years. They put this engine in Astro vans, Safari vans, Sonoma trucks, Silverado 1/2 ton work trucks, Sierra 1/2 ton work trucks and some of their other small size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the brand new 2011 Chevy and GMC light duty work truck with the V6 option. So needless to say, these are great motors and will last you a long time with regular oil changes.ElectricalThe AC and heat works great, power sunroof works, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work, power mirrors work and so does the radio. All electrical options work just like they should.ExteriorThe vehicle was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. It was garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a nice deep gloss. The vehicle has no rust on the lower doors, rocker panels or underneath ( has been undercoated).But it's not a brand new vehicle and has a few very minor blemishes. Any blemish that I saw on the vehicle I took a close up photo of with my finger pointing towards it. Im very picky ( as you can tell by all the pictures below ) and looked very close for flaws and found the following:It has a couple tiny rock chips on the hood that have been touched up and thats the only flaws i could find.If your walking around the vehicle it looks great from every angle. You would have a tought time pointing out the flaws and need to get a few inches away ( eye level ) to see them. But they are there and I just want to explain the vehicle as best as I can to you. Considering it's a 2003 model, I personally think it looks better than most 2007 trucks on the road today.InteriorThe seats and carpet are very clean in the vehicle. The driver seat does not have any abnormal wear or stains on it and neither does any of the other seat. There are no unusual odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). I took close to 40 pictures of the interior so you can get a good idea of the condition.I hope the description was not too long but I try to put myself in a buyer's position and I would like to know everything, not just a few outside photos. Take a few minutes and read this description, I have included detailed information about the vehicles mechanical, interior and exterior condition. I want to give you a lot of information and hope you feel comfortable with the vehicle. Although I'm not a mechanic, I have been around a lot of vehicles and can give you a good explanation of the vehicle.

I like a lot of information and pictures about a vehicle, not just a description with 5 or 10 pictures and a few short lines saying " It's perfect, needs nothing, looks new inside and out etc......"
A lot of times when people are selling a vehicle they are not too honest about the condition, and the worst thing that can happen is for a buyer to see the vehicle in person and find several un-disclosed flaws with it. I have been there myself and its not a fun feeling.
There are things that people would never mention until you noticed them first. I'm being as honest as I know to be, thats why I take all these pictures and type a long description so that you can get a good "condition report" of the vehicle.

This is a very clean 2003 Chevy S-10 Ext Cab ZQ8 Sport with 35,272 miles. The vehicle has averaged right around 5,300 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle.
It's not often I find a S-10 with the ZQ8 suspention package, not many of these are around with low miles so im glad to have this one for your consideration.
Mechanically
I usually have my vehicles 4-5 days before I put them up for sale. This allows me enough time to drive them for a couple days before I get them serviced. I like doing this because it gives me a great idea on the mechanical / cosmetic condition of the vehicle. I drove this truck and put around 40 miles on it and it drives great.
The vehicle starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. It accelerates without any hesitation and the engine does not make any abnormal noises during acceleration or at idle ( no ticking or knocking ).
The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also smooth with no abnormal "jerking" and the steering feels great with no unusual vibrations at highway speeds (65-70 mph).
This is a well kept truck and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip.
Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic I take my vehicles to has been working on cars for 15 years working for a big new car dealership here in town, he is very good and all my vehicles go to him for the inspection and reconditioning. He has his own ASE certified repair facility and does anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines.
He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & rear differential and they were both full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date.
There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well.
If you do a internet search on these trucks, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 35,000 miles so it still has a lot of life left.
I always buy Blazers/Jimmys, S-10 and Sonoma trucks with the 4.3L Vortec V6 because I have never had any problems with them. I have had over 30 of these and they just keep going. They are proven to last and I would rather sell a vehicle with a solid drivetrain reputation then one with a problematic one.
The 4.3L Vortec V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for over 20 years. They put this engine in Astro vans, Safari vans, Sonoma trucks, Silverado 1/2 ton work trucks, Sierra 1/2 ton work trucks and some of their other small size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the brand new 2011 Chevy and GMC light duty work truck with the V6 option. So needless to say, these are great motors and will last you a long time with regular oil changes.
Electrical
The AC and heat works great, power sunroof works, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work, power mirrors work and so does the radio. All electrical options work just like they should.
Exterior
The vehicle was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. It was garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a nice deep gloss. The vehicle has no rust on the lower doors, rocker panels or underneath ( has been undercoated).
But it's not a brand new vehicle and has a few very minor blemishes. Any blemish that I saw on the vehicle I took a close up photo of with my finger pointing towards it. Im very picky ( as you can tell by all the pictures below ) and looked very close for flaws and found the following:
It has a couple tiny rock chips on the hood that have been touched up and thats the only flaws i could find.
If your walking around the vehicle it looks great from every angle. You would have a tought time pointing out the flaws and need to get a few inches away ( eye level ) to see them. But they are there and I just want to explain the vehicle as best as I can to you. Considering it's a 2003 model, I personally think it looks better than most 2007 trucks on the road today.
Interior
The seats and carpet are very clean in the vehicle. The driver seat does not have any abnormal wear or stains on it and neither does any of the other seat. There are no unusual odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). I took close to 40 pictures of the interior so you can get a good idea of the condition.

To sum it up, your getting a very well kept 2003 Chevy S-10 ZQ8 with low miles. It would make someone a great truck for several more years.

Tax
Indiana state law requires us to collect sales tax even if you are an out of state buyer. We will collect INDIANA sales tax (7%) and provide you with tax form ST-108. This form serves as proof that you have paid sales tax when you go to your local license branch to register the vehicle. They will not charge you tax again on this purchase when you provide them with the ST-108 form you recieve from us at the time of sale. If you are an out of state buyer, please contact your local license branch with any questions regarding sales tax. We have sold several vehicles to out of state customers and never had a problem with them getting charged tax twice.
