surewin3 Store 1962 FORD THUNDERBIRD Up for auction is this 1962 Ford Thunderbird coupe. I am listing this for my father who bought it 4 months ago drove it once and realized the car is to big for him (he is five foot). This is a very straight bird from southern california with no rust issues.It is equipped with air conditioning and a 390 4 barrel thunderbird engine with automatic transmission. This car is fully loaded option wise with power windows, driver's seats, brakes, steering etc..............The windows go up and down well. It has the swing away steering wheels for easy entry and exiting for the driver's seat. the body is extremely straight with new black 2 stage urethane paint job that has been wet sanded and polished to a beautiful brilliance. Most of the chrome including the bumpers and the grilles have been re-chromed and are in beautiful condition. the windshield and the rest of the glass are in very good condition. the seats , door panels are original and are beautiful without any rips ore tears. The headliner , carpets and trunk mat are new form Larry's Thunderbird. the color of the interior is a light tan which compliments the black shiny exterior. The odometer indicates 57,800 miles and clearly has gone around once. The engine and transmission were gone through and operates and drives well. the wheels are polished alloys and are in great shape. Here's a great cruise car that drives out well, does not smoke or burn oil, and can be bought for a mere fraction of what a restoration would cost.
