Due to age and health reasons, I recently sold my country home and storage building and have moved to town. Consequently, I am puting my completely stock 1955 chevy up for sale. I purchased the chevy in 1989 and have been working on a complete body off restoration for the past 12 years. This has been my hobby and source of enjoyment. With a little work it could be a great show car. Some of the items of note are: -Completely restored 235 hp V8 engine and power glide tranny -New chrome bumpers -Original re-chromed front bumper guard -New windshield and all side glass and chrome -New weatherstripping -All new upholstery and headliner -New floor carpeting -New exhaust system -New radiator and gas tank -New modern radio -New seat belts The car has been primed with epoxy primer and painted with basecoat/clearcoat. The car has always been stored inside and had virtually no rust. The drivers floor pan had a small rust hole that was repaired. I had the rear quarter panels replaced, not due to rust, but the previous owner had scraped too many garage doors. Since this car will also be listed on the local market, I reserve the right to cancel this ad at any time. I will require a $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours and the balance through wire transfer within 7 days of auction close. Buyer will be responsible for shipping costs.
