This El Camino has a 307 v8 motor. The intake has been changed to a Edlebrock Prefomer, and sports a new Edlebrock quad for mixing fuel. This is a numbers matching car, and it runs, shifts, and drives beautifully. The trany is a three speed manual. The shifter is a Hurst and it was taken off the tree and professionally mounted on the floor. The Camino has bucket seats and the interior is all stock and is in excellent shape with no tears, cracks, or holes anywhere. The body has a few problems. Floors are good, but there is rust below the rear window and a spot in the bottom of the driver's door. Both are about an inch and a half in diameter. There is also a small dent in the rear bumper, and a shallow dent in the left front fender. Both of these problems are minor. The body itself is in good to very good shape. The paint is nice to look at from a distance, as you can tell by the pictures, but it has cracks all through in several places. These cracks are not caused from age, but from poor application.The wheels are stock steel rims that came with the car, and are trimmed with beauty rims. The exhaust is a pair of Flow Masters, and they sound great. Overall, this is a very nice El Camino. If restoration is to be considered, it would be an easy one.
