As per the previous owner, this Chevy truck has the original stock 235 inline 6 cyl. engine and running gear with 4 speed manual transmission. 8 year old restoration but still in very nice condition, inside and out. It has headers with new dual exhaust, 6 volt electrical, nice chrome, stainless steel trim, carpet, door gaskets, and welting. New battery, shocks, mufflers, electric wiper motor, and brake master cylinder. Engine starts right up, idles and runs smoothly. It sounds like a little V8 with the dual exhaust. This classic truck was in a private collection of 1950's cars prior to my ownership, and I have owned it about 3 years. I have done very little to it other than replace a few parts that needed it. The original wood flooring is in place, but covered by a steel plate that is tack welded in. Things it needs: If I were to keep it I would restore or replace the wood bed, install the brand new 6 volt wiper motor (included), and connect the heater hoses. It is a very nice, solid truck with little or no rust. I get thumbs up and waves every time I drive it. It has been to a couple of local car shows and driven on nice days only. It is usually kept in a heated garage, but I am forced to sell it as winter approaches, as I have aquired another collector car and don't want this beautiful old truck to sit outside. Nada collector car value guide lists this year and model truck at $14,050 for average retail and $38,400 for high retail. I would say this truck is well above average in it's overall condition and priced below actual collector value and potential. I have a low reserve, so have fun bidding, and you may soon be the owner of a nice classic 1950 Chevy 3100!
