After an extensive search for a low-mileage version of this specific color/package combination, I purchased it under BMW's certified pre-owned program from the same dealership with 17,000 miles on it in September of 2008. Since then, it has been the 3rd car in a two person adult household and used for mostly weekend/pleasure driving and garaged at all times, with little winter use other than to keep everything moving and the mechanicals in good working order. Car has never seen snow and only been in the rain a couple of times. In addition, after first purchasing the car, I had a clear-film protection system custom installed on the front of the car, as well as the front pillars and front roof line to protect it on the road against rocks and associated chips in the paint. This was a $1,200 project that was performed by the same company that does this service for local exotic dealerships in the area. Car has had all recommended maintenance done and you can see from the pictures of the exterior and interior that it is has been well cared for and is in excellent condition. Clean Carfax when I purchased it and no accidents, tickets, road incidents whatsoever in the time I have owned it. I have owned several nice vehicles but this BMW has been a joy to drive and like nothing else I have ever owned. I know whoever gets it will feel the same way. The car is garaged at all times but I am including a custom indoor flannel car cover with the purchase. It has been useful in keeping the car dust-free when not in use.
