Selling my grand am:( first off i will say the car has been well taken care of by previous owners and my self. i currently drove the car 70 miles a day without problems. all the miles on the car are from highway use. everything works and is all stock. this car hasn't been modified or abused.this car is very rare as it has the sc/t style hood and spoiler which weren t factory options til 2003. also has the newer style black mirrors.it is actually a 2002.5 model as i have the build sheet that states these were put on at the factory not after. i have replaced alot of parts on the car and have all the receipts that add up to well over $3,000. the only thing the car needs to be perfect is a front and rear bumper cover, head gaskets, and maybe a new paint job. the car still shows very well for being almost 10 years old. it is still driveable but dont recomend driving it far due to the head gasket issue. these motors are known for going thru intake and head gaskets frequently but mine have lasted til 200,000 miles which should tell you something.here is a list of parts i have replaced within the past year. all of this was replaced at all 4 corners-struts,springs,rotors,brake pads,tires,factory chrome rims,and alignment $1600.00 front outer tie rods,control arms,and stabilizer links $350.00 thermostat,cooling temp sensor,radiator cap,upper radiator hose,upper metal cooling pipe,coolant flush $400.00 plugs,wires,fuel filter,pcv valve,air filter $ 160.00 both front headlight bezels $140.00 windshield,wiper blades $175.00 mass airflow sensor, both o2 sensors,intake temp sensor and wiring harness $300.00 factory upgraded monsoon speakers in the back deck,replaced all light bulbs and buttons in the radio $150.00 trans filter/fluid replaced, no metal shavings were found in pan, also replaced the tcc solenoid,epc solenoid, and shift solenoids. trans shifts great. $740.00 window tint. $175.00 my brother is a mechanic so i saved on some of the labor but have still put alot into the car. i am an avid pontiac collector as i have a few cars in storage already. i hate to sell this one but i believe it could be a great car for someone else who can appreciate it as much as i do. i have the factory dealer brochure,owners manual,repair manual,and the cars original build sheet. i do not have to sell it but i just bought a new car so this one just sits. the interior is in mint condition, no stains or burn marks. car has every option except leather. has the factory floor mats and keyless entry. all it needs is the head gaskets repaired and you will have a great reliable car. car is not perfect so dont expect that. if it was it would be $5,000 even with the miles on it. selling the car as is/ no warranty. good luck bidding and thank you for looking at my auction. On Oct-21-11 at 08:28:18 PDT, seller added the following information: i have the right to end auction early as the car is for sale locally. for all the people asking the car isnt perfect, but it is a nice looking car that would loast a long time with a new head gasket. il try and put up pics of the interior. that is one thing on the car that is perfect. no rips,stains, or cracks. the bumpers are on the car and presentable but yet again to make it perfect a new front and and rear one would do the job. as for the auto check, the car had 2 owners and the second owner was involved in a collision. i am really the third owner. it says im the fourth but the actual third owner bought it at an auction and flipped it. he told me this when i bought it.
