Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1978 Ford Bronco Custom. In my opinion for the year of the bronco its in great shape. The Bronco is mostly original. It has a 351 motor, automatic transmission and its 4X4. The rims that are on my bronco are aluminum rims but I do have the original hubcaps and tires. I bought the aluminum rims because I liked the look. Both sets of tires goes with the bronco but they are starting to get some cracks in the tires. The interior of the bronco is brown and its in great shape. There are some issues on the bronco that will need attention. I have been told before that I describe issues worse than they seem but I like to put it all on the line. There is some rust in the tailgate, rust in the door panels, couple cracks in the upholstery of the seats and there is some spots on the hood with the clear coat. Please look at the pictures. The bronco is not currently inspected as it ran out in June of 2011. There is no reason why it wouldn't pass a VA inspection to my knowledge. The bronco rides smooth and it gets lots of thumbs up. Please email with any questions. OK now to the serious part. If you bid I intend on you purchasing my bronco. When the auction ends I expect a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 within 6 hours. When you come pick up the bronco if there is something wrong or something you feel I didn't describe correctly I will gladly give you the $150.00 dollars back. I have had several questions about the paint. The paint is not original and was repainted in 2000-2001. Thanks On Oct-18-11 at 20:07:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I should have listed this info to begin with but I needed to find it. I do have the receipts for the paint work and work done on the bronco. In March of 2003 the bronco was repainted and repair to the tailgate. There has been alot of work done. This cost $2,710 dollars. I also have the receipts from where the carb was rebuild, the bearings and races replaced and the 4X4 hubs gone through. This work was done in 2001 and was $622. In 2007 the rear tailgate motor was replaced and new rear tailgate strap holders this cost $289. I have several other receipts but these are some of the main ones. The top is in great shape also. The exhaust has been replaced but I can't find the receipt for that. This bronco is in great shape. Please email with any questions. This bronco is going to sell to the highest bidder as I have no reserve. On Oct-22-11 at 06:21:13 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 10-22-2011 I was underneath the bronco looking at it to answer some questions and did notice a rust area in the passenger side floorboard. It is in the upper right corner. Its about 1 1/2 wide by 3 inches long. I apologize for missing this earlier. I just noticed it. Please email with any questions or email me your phone number and I will call you. I will not post your phone number. Jonathan
